We stumbled upon this lovely bar by chance, as they serve snacks and hot meals throughout the day. Because it was so great, we went there three times with our group (12 people). The dishes are consistently absolutely delicious and seem to be freshly prepared. You receive a warm and friendly welcome, and when you see the owner, you know right away that things can only be good. She runs her business with passion, and it shows on the plate. Thank you so much for the wonderful hours we were able to spend here.

A very nice place with delicious appetizers and even better wine. The staff speaks almost no English, but you can communicate without any problems. I recommend it!

It's the kind of restaurant that makes you feel at home, where you know every dish is prepared with love and is sure to be delicious. And indeed, we were completely satisfied. We chose the wild boar pici and the off-menu version with truffle and porcini mushrooms: both were exceptional, especially the main courses, which were truly unforgettable. The menu was full of interesting options, and I would have liked to try many more. We finished with the homemade cakes, authentic desserts reminiscent of grandma's. A must-visit in the heart of Volpaia.

Dormíamos en Volpaia y fuimos a cenar una noche. No caímos en reservar (en el pueblo viven 20 personas) pero el lugar es precioso y lógicamente más turístico de lo que pensábamos. Estaba lleno, pero como pudieron nos prepararon una mesa y nos acomodaron. A parte del trato que es maravilloso, conocimos una mejor que hablaba un perfecto español, pasamos un muy buen rato con ella e incluso nos despedimos con dos besos!
La comida genial, las bruschettas muy ricas y la pasta del día (preguntad lo que hay fuera de carta) espectacular. El postre que nos recomendó, tarta de manzana, estaba riquísima así como el tiramisú.
Un lugar mágico en un emplazamiento mágico.

Si tratta di una attività di ristorazione autentica della tradizione Toscana. La tradizione familiare conserva le ricette autentiche della cucina chiantigiana preparate in modo casalingo. Porzioni abbondanti, menù con varie possibilità di scelta. Ambiente informale ma si può sottoscrivere che condotto da gente del mestiere che tengono alla loro storia ed ai loro ospiti. Sono posti difficili da trovare al giorno di oggi. Prezzi più che onesti!
