Excellent trattoria where you can enjoy Carnia specialties. Herb-filled ciarsons, cappellacci with porcini mushrooms, frico (truly excellent), polenta and sausage, stewed guancialini... excellent house wine!! Four courses plus dessert, wine, and coffee: €35 each for two!

I should start by saying that I rarely review, and only when I've had very positive experiences.
We were passing through, looking for a place to have little more than an aperitivo after busy days and evenings (how can you eat well in Friuli!?). After a morning at the beautiful Arta spa, we landed here. It's a simple but charming place, with tables and benches outside to soak up the sun. We settled in and ordered a mixed platter to share and two glasses of prosecco. The local cured meats were delicious and authentic, but even better were the pickles they made with porcini mushrooms and their garden vegetables: plentiful and spectacular! The lovely girl who served us literally told us about their desserts (elsewhere we wouldn't have ordered anything). We would have ordered them all, but we opted for the tiramisu (a specialty that originated in Friuli). This, too, was truly special. The bill was equally positive. We promised ourselves we'd return for dinner, but we were too far away and hadn't planned on going back. What a shame: I'm sure we would have had the best dinner of our short vacation. We'll be back. I hope so!

We've been several times and have always had a great experience, both in terms of the food and the courtesy of the wait staff. We're in love with the dishes they serve, with explanations of the dish and the ingredients used to make it.

A place that may not look inviting from the outside, but inside it's simple and clean. But the cuisine is excellent, with fresh produce and vegetables grown on site. Typical local and seasonal dishes. The staff's detailed and passionate descriptions make you want to try every course. Special dishes, from appetizer to dessert. Excellent value.

Good dishes: excellent homemade cured meats and vegetables in oil, decent rosemary-infused frico, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms that could be improved, good service, and a noisy atmosphere, at least inside. Perhaps when there are large groups, it's best to put couples in other rooms. The à la carte menu prices are moderately high compared to other places.

We ended up at Mandy's by chance and were truly surprised! The food was EXCEPTIONAL, all locally sourced. The pork cheeks were so good we ordered another portion. The first courses were...special! From the mushrooms to the duck ragù.
The panna cotta and plum tart were the icing on the cake of this lunch.
A special thanks to Barbara, who made the experience memorable with her advice, authenticity, and smile.
Excellent value!

Dinner was W-A-R-E-P-I-T-O-U-S.
We ate divinely. We ordered the Cappelli del Montanaro: highly recommended and delicious. For our main course, we had the pork cheeks, which melt in your mouth.
To finish, excellent desserts and a delicious mountain pine liqueur on the house.
The staff were extremely kind and friendly, often even joking, and made you feel at home.
We'll be back. Well done, and compliments to the chef.
