Today we had lunch at this trattoria. We ate pappardelle with white lamb ragù, sciallatielli with vegetables, grilled sausage, thin, soft and crunchy French fries and a portion of caprese with white wine and mineral water. All delicious.

The host was helpful and courteous, the food exquisite and the service impeccable. The scialatielli all'ortolana were excellent, as were the pappardelle with lamb ragù in bianco. The second courses were also good, lamb chops and sausage, the fried potatoes sublime. Finally, a nice slice of caprese to end on a high note. We will definitely be back.

On June 2nd I was passing by with my motorbike, given the late hour I stopped for lunch, the very nice owner welcomed me with cordiality. I ate very well, both the first and second courses were excellent, also the coffee was very good. Everyone was kind and helpful, if you pass by Villa Santa Maria I sincerely recommend it both for the quality of the food, the staff and the quiet environment. Excellent quality/price ratio.

Spectacular experience. First of all, the wonderful welcome from the owner, super kind and helpful. Very nice and relaxing location, river view. Impeccable service, fast and very satisfying.. then moving on to the dishes, nothing short of exquisite, first courses of the highest quality, fresh pasta and abundant portions. What can I say.. 5 stars are too few for this wonderful place! ❤️

We were passing through the Val di Sangro and we stopped by pure chance, also given the time (1pm) at this restaurant, what can I say, we ordered delicious pappardelle with ragù, superlative lamb ribs, an amazing house red wine, oh, I forgot, while waiting for the first course we had a mix of local cold cuts and cheeses, everything was excellent including the bill, I will definitely go back and I highly recommend it.

12/08/2025: Our first experience at the trabucco was wonderful, but my daughter had already been there twice, so we went for sure. It was a wonderful experience, an excellent gastronomic journey. They bring the dishes slowly, so you can fully enjoy them. The waiter describes the dish perfectly, and it's perfectly composed. The atmosphere is wonderful, breezy and shaded. The service is excellent, as is the open kitchen, spotlessly clean, and the professionalism and harmony between them all. It's an experience we'll repeat, but highly recommended to anyone looking for a unique experience. They also offer gluten-free options. Thank you, you made our afternoon a wonderful one. Ristorante Pizzeria La Sorgente

21/08/2025: I ate here with friends. We were greeted kindly and professionally by the wait staff, and, following their advice, we chose to order one pizza from each menu item and eat them together, allowing everyone to sample everything. The pizza selection is extensive, and the quality is undeniable. A pizza with a trio of meats was particularly good. The prices are in line with average pizzeria prices, but the quality of the ingredients is decidedly high.
16/08/2025: We finally managed to try this pizzeria on Ferragosto (August 15th) evening. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, and they greeted us with a smile despite our late arrival. The woman who took our order was very helpful and gave us excellent advice. The pizzas were delicious, with great combinations and quality ingredients. The semolina pizza filled with three-meat ragù was fabulous! We'll be back with more time!
