Homely restaurant, excellent food, helpful staff.

A great experience, a classic Garfagnana trattoria where you eat well and pay a fair price. The zucchini and mushroom lasagna was excellent. I wanted to highlight the excellent service; despite the crowds, the waiters didn't miss a thing. If I may, the only negative is the bathroom, which, being a one-stop shop, isn't sufficient, and there's always a line. We'll be back. Recommended

Osteria, trattoria near the lake, exceptional first courses

Compared to the reviews I'd read, I expected more. I was disappointed by the menu, which is basic and doesn't include all the dishes mentioned here online. I asked if the gnocchi were homemade and was told yes, which certainly wasn't true; they were clearly the kind from the packets. The price isn't high, but it's in line with the quality. The dining room is welcoming and charming. The service is excellent.

I've been to this small, typically Italian restaurant twice now – and both visits were a delight. The first time, there was a classic menu; the second time, the menu was presented to us verbally in typical Italian style – roughly five first courses and five second courses, just like in Italy itself. Both times, the food was simply fantastic: fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. The dessert was also a real highlight. The service was excellent on the first visit, and even more so on the second visit. You can tell that this is a family business where the cooking and serving is done with passion. Convenient: Food is served until 3:00 PM. If you like Italian food and want to experience a taste of Italy, this is the place for you.

Very tasty homemade products; we only tried the first courses, and we were completely satisfied. The freshly picked fried mushrooms were delicious. The cakes were also exceptional. Fast, helpful, and kind. Thank you for having us despite the late hour and the crowd.

We went back this weekend, we remembered the good food and the friendliness of the owners, the place is very nice....the only flaw is to go there not too late because the food runs out quickly and they don't have much staff.....but the service was fast.
