A first course, an appetizer shared between three, a bottle of Lambrusco between three, a dessert, and two bottles of water: €38 per person.
I have no objection to the prices; it would have been better to have a menu and have time to decide. Unfortunately, this time, the "listing a thousand dishes, from appetizer to main course, without leaving time to think about the customer" approach overwhelmed us. I was willing to spend less with a little thought; if you don't have this problem, then I recommend it.
The food, however, was excellent, especially the dessert.
The service was too fast and there was no time to enjoy the dishes; the waiter almost took my plate away with the cold cuts still inside...

A 1960s-style trattoria.
Few frills, a welcoming atmosphere, friendly and extremely helpful staff, and home-cooked food in the best possible way: excellent and plentiful 😋
Music that sounds like music.
Spacious tables arranged in small rooms, without echoes, allowing for conversation at a normal voice.
Caveat: The full menu is only available for lunch. Dinner requires some adjustment, but it's an adjustment that leaves you satisfied.
I recommend inquiring when booking.

A delightful lunch break, whose delicious food convinced us to have a full meal instead of the usual single dish.
Everything was very good, and even more delicious was the rest of the menu, which we didn't try. The staff is truly welcoming, both in their manner and in the empathy they show to the customer, even the most unknown among the many regulars and workers in the area.
We will certainly return to try some of the other items on offer.

A true trattoria in Parma. It's not a touristy place, perhaps not as scenic, but it has a lovely interior. The food here is good, like at home, and follows local tradition. The very kind Matteo, the owner's son, waits tables but also makes the fresh pasta. And his tortelli are truly special, unique, and delicious. The desserts are homemade. Try them and ask for advice. The platter is excellent. Worth a try during the few days it's open in the evenings.

I've visited this place on several occasions. An authentic experience in one of the few "home-style" restaurants that are now difficult to find around Italy. Simple, home-made, straightforward food. You'll find exactly what you expect from this place, including the atmosphere. Perhaps they could do a little more to convey that sense of "home" that you can still feel, but then again, the staff works hard and it's not always easy... so that's fine. Keep it up, well done everyone.
