Bar Tambellini In Lucca

We had lunch here and had an incredible experience. We arrived a little prior to opening time but they were gracious and went ahead and seated us. Owner was nice and came over and explained the menu to us. We were seated on the back patio which was lovely. Food was delicious and our overall experience was absolutely perfect. Best meal and ambiance so far of our time in Lucca.

What a magical world! Beyond the kindness and gentle welcome, we are in a place full of art and food for the eyes and the palate! One of those rare places that deserves to be protected!

We had a great evening! We sat in the beautiful courtyard/barn, and the food was excellent. We had local tortelli, linguine(zucchini and lemon), milanese. For dessert tiramisu and strudel — everything tasted delicious. Definitely recommend. The menu was handwritten in Italian, but the waiter offered to translate it for us. He was a bit grumpy but also kind of funny — we couldn’t quite tell if he liked having us there or was relieved when we left! :)

A lovely atmosphere in the garden at this very well established Restaurant. Service was helpful and friendly. we had the best meal Here since we arrived in Lucca. His rovelline and my linguine with bottarga were excellent, My start of caramelised figs and ricotta was truly excellent. This is simple traditional Italian cooking at its best.

Fantastic surroundings! The wine was truly fantastic and the food was excellent. If you stay in Lucca, you should preferably have a car to get there, it was a bit of a dangerous road we took.

Unassuming restaurant on the road, recommended by Andrea (campsite Agriturismo Ai Linchi). Very stylish ambience inside and out, traditional local cuisine on a handwritten menu. The owner also speaks English and explains the individual dishes. Highly recommended!

The opening hours are incorrect! It opens at 7:00 PM in the evening. It's worth coming out. The atmosphere is very cozy, especially outside. The food was excellent. We had pasta, salad, and dessert. We'd be happy to come back.
