It’s the first coffee place we went to after reaching the hotel in the cold morning. Seems like it was buzzing with locals having quick espresso and chatting. The coffee was great and affordable, the sandwiches were also served warm, very comforting. Wanted to come back for a 2nd coffee on my last day in Rome but they are closed on weekends.

Extremely good quality/price ratio. The food was good and the service nice. Free water and bread ! I had a full course for 10€.

Friendly neighbourhood bar The staff are really friendly, and they don't charge you an arm and a leg to sit down - it was just €2 for a capuccino. And the coffee is pretty good - not the usual bitter Italian coffee!

04/01/2026: Excellent ice cream shop and bar in the center, a side street off Via Arenula. It doesn't have a huge variety of flavors, but they're all excellent. I recommend trying the rice and rose ice cream. You can sit inside or outside. Friendly staff. Always excellent.
31/12/2025: The best gelato we had in 6 days in Rome. Interesting flavors with perfect consistency, as well as lots of seating for a mid-day break.
