Visiting Christmas 2024 Finally, after so many years of coming to the valley, I was able to go to the Metzelet, and what can I say...even though it was a holiday (Christmas), the staff were kind and always smiling, very helpful, and that's not something everyone can do. We had lunch, and everything was delicious. The octopus at the foot of the Matterhorn was spectacular. If you want a dessert, the berry tart is amazing! 🫐🍓🍰 I'll be back very gladly. Best wishes, guys, see you soon.

The place is beautiful, welcoming, warm, and refined. The dishes are delicious, very rich and seasoned, as is typical of Aosta Valley cuisine (perhaps bordering on overdone in some cases). Honorable mention goes to the lard, which is exquisite. Prices are average for Cervinia. If you come, be prepared to smell the cheese on your way out!

Located on the edge of the pedestrian area, it has classic mountain decor, with warm wood and soft lighting. The food is excellent and plentiful. If you're not terribly hungry, don't order anything else after the fondue.

14/02/2026: What can I say... super good pizza! 😍 The food at Pizzeria La Capricciosa in Donnas is truly delicious: light dough and super fresh ingredients. You can really taste the quality! The place is welcoming and the staff is incredibly friendly, they make you feel right at home. Fast service and fair prices. I'll definitely be back, highly recommended! 🍕✨

11/01/2026: Fantastic place, excellent food! Excellent first and second courses, but especially the meats. The venison was sublime, then the bison...reindeer... We ordered a second course. Even though the portions were already generous, it was worth it. Chef Gianni (take a moment to say hello) is truly amazing! Must try.
09/01/2026: We went for lunch on December 30th, without a reservation. It's our second time here and we're always happy. The ground-floor dining room is very nice. The food was good quality and excellent value, especially considering the area. The food was good, especially considering the presentation. The free meatball tasting before lunch and the mandarin parfait were appreciated. We tried the mocceta and tartare appetizers (excellent). The gnocchetti, ravioli, and taglierini were all very good. The wine was also good. Compliments, recommended, we'll be back.
