Everything was good, from the starters to the main courses and side dishes. One flaw: for ready-made meals, a 15% service charge at the end of the bill in Catania is way too much, especially considering you're already paying for the cover charge. If I'd looked at the receipt first, I definitely would have done or said something.

It is a beautiful place, very elegant and spacious. I would say that the history of Menza fascinates me a lot, after all it dates back to 1863. The service is magnificent, with well dressed and formal employees. The food is excellent, but it also has large quantities but it is still very good. To return.

Great aperitif with not the usual chips but with lots of extra snacks. I usually always take the Campari spritz and here they do it very well…! The place is in line between refined and informal.

Trattoria Monte S. Agata

18/10/2025: We arrived at this restaurant by chance, prompted by Veronica Via Etnea, who led us to this trattoria. We ate very well there and the chef offered us Marsala liqueur. Giuseppe, the waiter, was very attentive. We recommend it.

04/10/2025: I've known this place for five years. Everyone here demonstrates a helpfulness and expertise that's hard to find in Sicily. Everything is excellent. This is the Sicily it deserves.
26/09/2025: I celebrated an event for 25 people and everything went well. The presentation and quality of the food were excellent, the service was attentive, and the staff was incredibly kind. A special thanks goes to Mr. Sergio for accommodating all my requests with complete availability.
