Restaurant located a few meters from the sylvan craters, well-stocked and welcoming, ideal for a lunch or dinner on Etna which reigns supreme in every way. If you also start making smoke rings, it's absolutely worth the visit. Also recommended from an economic point of view. Furthermore, well stocked with gadgets for small thoughts.

Located a few meters from the vents that threatened the inhabited centers in 2001, it is located approximately 2000 meters above sea level. For being in a tourist area it maintains the typical local cuisine. Excellent value for money

Locale appena rinnovato con buon gusto proprio accanto al sentiero per i “Crateri Silvestri”. Gentilissimo sia il proprietario che lo staff. Bagni puliti e tanto tanto spazio sia al bar dove non manca l’angolo souvenir che in sala ristorante. Bello il camino acceso di fianco al bancone. Buoni gli antipasti, un po’ meno i due primi. Un piatto di mezze maniche con guanciale croccante e carciofi (sembravano quelli da boccia sottaceto), poi dei maccheroni al sugo di stufato un po’ così. Peccato.

A nice place to rest after hiking. The restaurant meets expectations for a medium budget touristic place. While the food was not prepared fresh, it was presented nicely and with good service. Overall good value for the luxury of having lunch on top of an active volcano.

Bar located right in the central part for excursions... you can either eat in the adjacent restaurant or in the bar with sandwiches and local products. The service is very fast and courteous, the prices are average

Situato a circa 2000 metri, questo bar ristorante rappresenta una buona sosta durante il vostro tour dell’Etna. Non male i piatti veloci proposti, tra cui gli arancini.

04/11/2023: During out stay in Catania we visited this restaurant repeteadly and each time we were satisfied with tasty meals. Great, relaxed and friendly service received on every visit. As my friend does not eat fishes we stuck with Spaghetti carbonara and Rigatoni with meat sauce from Etna. Every time well prepared meals, even within busy evening time, brought without long waiting. The meals we could see on other tables were mouth watering. The location is perfect, in the city center just few meters from the Piazza Universita.
18/10/2023: My husband and I shared a Crudo of swordfish, tuna, salmon carpaccio and baby shrimp and the fried mixed fish platter. We asked for them at the same time but Fayzer guided us to enjoy them the best way. He insisted we order the Crudo first and the cooked second because we needed to eat the fried fish hot. The fried fish consisted of fried baby flounder, merluzzo, and cappucetto. He was right. We could savor them the way the chef intended. He also recommend the wine to pair with our food. I wanted red so he suggested Nero avola red wine. It was as delicious as the food. We also had linguini with shellfish and pasta with clams. Fayzer gave us sorbet as gifts. He is a wonderful host. We enjoyed our culinary evening. I highly recommend.
