Not fancy but good honest flavoursome food cooked on the premises. Interesting wine list and friendly service. Pleasant.

Ate alio olio and tomato salad, super tasty. Great service. Great ambience. Paid a total of €25 with water (large bottle) and espresso. Super fair price! Without coperto it would have only been €22.

Lovely traditional restaurant in Argegno overlooking Lake Como. We ate there several times and were always satisfied. Varied menu and varied wine list. Friendly, courteous staff.

I had their amazing beef cheeks that were oh so buttery soft. Beautiful ambiance and view over looking the lake. Friendly service and I wanted to go back for their beef check with polenta. I loved that small town with less crowd than Bellagio. It was quaint and there is a boutique shop one or two doors down with reasonably priced clothing that I bought for myself and family. There is a bakery across the way and they served delicious cappuccino and some interesting cookies and pies.

Best food & friendliest service during our 9 days stay on the lake. The eggplant Parmigian is so excellent, we returned for more. Waiter, owners and chef all visited our table. Our experiences in the other villages was nothing this good.

Entering La Barchetta is like entering your own home. Characteristic place run by exceptional people who take care of you as if you were their family member. Exceptional food... I recommend you try their pizzoccheri and their meat which literally melts in your mouth. To conclude, a long chat with the very nice owner talking about my place of birth, Montegrotto Terme. Highly recommended also for the excellent quality/price ratio

Venue chosen at random. Pleasant feeling already on the phone, confirmed upon arrival, by the owner who opened and recognized us. Lake view. Very nice environment, attention to detail and clean. We chose mushroom risotto, pizzoccheri, parmigiana and whitefish ravioli and then the desserts. All amazing. But the gem was the owner who came to inform us about our choice of visits. Definitely coming back.

06/08/2024: Ci sono stato a cena con amici consigliato da uno di loro. Parcheggio comodo e ampio vicino alla trattoria, abbiamo cenato all'esterno ne cortiletto molto carino con molte piante ornamentali. Servizio impeccabile e veloce. Abbiamo scelto di fare menù con pesce di mare e personalmente ho preso un primo di spaghetti con vongole e di secondo calamari alla griglia. Tutto freschissimo e molto buono. Anche gli amici sono stati molto soddisfatti. Nell'insieme ottimo ristorante con pizzeria.
