A restaurant that, in the little square of Argegno, could stand out.
But, the dishes lack bite, ossobuco with polenta without infamy and without praise.
It needs a little more character.

Midday at Barchetta a certainty, simple, very well-kept environment, the arches, the niches where they display the wines are a characteristic, local cuisine, lake dishes, I go for the certainty, rice with Perch.
Fillets are small, to testify to the local origin ....
Sauteed artichokes and raw salad, spectacular ..

Delicious food at reasonable prices at the ferry dock. A bit hectic due to the road, but that's part of it. What's not nice is that plates are cleared away while some of the group is still eating. The servers are friendly and attentive!

The food was so delicious we came back 2 days in a row for dinner. Steak fillet was done to perfection and risotto was super flavourful. Also highly recommend their anchovy dish that cames with a side of bread.
Staff were friendly and service was excellent. I ordered the steak 2 days in a row and the server remembered that I preferred medium doneness!
Highly recommend for high quality food without breaking the bank.

What a fantastic experience! On a Thursday evening in May I had dinner here with two others, and everything was just right. The food was absolutely delicious – every course was prepared with care and perfect down to the last detail. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive; you really feel welcome here.
The wine list is impressively extensive, with beautiful wines for every taste and occasion. And as if that wasn’t enough: as tourists we were pampered extra – they played atmospheric Italian music especially for us. That personal touch made the evening even more special.
An absolute must for anyone in Como or the surrounding area.

Very good little restaurant by the lake (and the road but it's not a problem). The staff are lovely and very welcoming. Price a little high but that's okay. The spaghetti carbonara is very good. I recommend

Tuvimos una comida encantadora aquí. El servicio fue realmente excelente y nos sentimos muy bienvenidos con nuestros dos hijos. Había algunas ofertas especiales frescas y de temporada encantadoras, incluyendo pasta de alcachofa. El caramelo crema estaba delicioso. Sin duda recomendaría alojarse en Argegno.
