Dopo 2 mesi di attesa, finalmente abbiamo potuto assaggiare il loro famosi tortelli. L'ambiente è un po spartano ma accogliente, menù casereccio e ampio. Noi abbiamo scelto i tortelli di patate con porcini e con sugo di anatra, ottimi! Ma i nostri preferiti sono stati i ravioli ricotta e spinaci con burro e salvia, davvero spettacolari...pasta sottile e ripieno cremosissimo! Complimenti...siamo tornati a casa felici!

We were there few times with my family and the food was always amazing. Tortelli with ragu, pizza and ravioli are delicious. If you want to eat there, book a table in advance as they are often full :) thank you for your hospitality. Regards, Karolina

The unique and one-of-a-kind taste of tortella di patate con sugo di cinghiale! You won't find this taste anywhere else. And of course I also recommend faccia ripieno. Delicious! And finally, sorbetto di limone 🍋 You can also taste bistecca fiorentina (a huge piece of meat). Here you will find true Tuscan flavors.

Siamo andati con amici. In una location tanto semplice quanto familiare abbiamo mangiato benissimo. I tortelli al ragù ed i ravioli con ricotta e spinaci sono di un valore eccelso. La fiorentina gustosa, morbida e con giusta cottura. Un posto nelle campagne fiorentine da visitare assolutamente

15/01/2025: Today again for lunch in this restaurant with my pregnant wife and daughter. The staff is always friendly and professional, the dishes are really good. Today macaroni with shellfish cacciucchino, cod creamed with chickpeas, pappardelle alla skate with I don't remember what (top pasta) and more. 😋

Lo Scudo

06/01/2025: It is a place next to the Duoma, which we went to on 05.05.2022, based on the comments, and we were incredibly satisfied. The steak is wonderful, the salad and lasagna are wonderful, we remember it so much that today, on the way back from France to Italy, I decided to go and have our meal again and find its name from the photographs. I saw that I didn't comment, let's do it right away ✋ you are very kind and smiling, thank you.
05/01/2025: Lo Scudo is one of my favorites in all of Florence! The location is lovely right by the Duomo, the servers are all very friendly and knowledgeable, and the food is fantastic. They have the best pappardelle al cinghiale in the whole city - and I have tasted many! Their bistecca alla fiorentina with a side of roasted potatoes will have you coming back for more. You will not be disappointed!
