The Foschini rotunda is an integral part of the eighteenth-century municipal theater of Ferrara which, being located at the corner between two streets of equal importance, required an effective urban planning expedient, and is dedicated, as the name suggests, to Antonio Foschini, one of the two designers of the theatre. Absolutely worth seeing!!!💕

A passing place, nice for a photo

I haven't seen the inside, but the outside of the building has a small square with a very particular shape, perfect for photos.

È un piccolo cortile interno di forma ovale, parte integrante dell'architettura del Teatro Comunale, inaugurato nel 1797. Era stato progettato come luogo di transito delle carrozze che entravano dai larghi e profondi portici, di cui il teatro è dotato nella facciata, e uscivano in Corso Giovecca. È dedicata ad Antonio Foschini, uno dei due architetti che hanno progettato il teatro. Ora la rotonda è adibita a zona pedonale

An interesting building at the side of the plaza with intricate paintings on the walls. We stopped for a minute and took some pictures.

Represented by a small oval-shaped courtyard, it is an integral part of the architecture of the Municipal Theater of Ferrara, dedicated to one of the two creators, once an area for passing carriages and now a venue for events. Very beautiful and particular.
