Bar Manganelli In Siena

The restaurant (which also acts as a bar with its cocktails and pizzeria) overlooks Piazza del Campo and offers a unique view. The restaurant, on the other hand, is refined and not at all touristy, with abundant, tasty and quality Tuscan dishes (the the only thing was the Pici were too al dente) the staff offered an elegant and fast service the owner was very kind and friendly the prices were fair given the location I would happily return.

While passing through in mid-January 2025, we had dinner in this restaurant. I was convinced that it was a "tourist" restaurant but as many restaurants were closed at that time, we let ourselves be convinced by Fahed, a friendly and multilingual waiter. Well it was a divine surprise. Presentation of dishes and flavors well above average!!! A big thank you to the chef.

The restaurant is well located in Piazza del Campo, where you can also have a good view. The food is mostly very good, at least when it comes to pasta. The artichokes on the pizza were hard, but the pizza was otherwise good too. However, the price of the food is far too overpriced and you are also deducted with some costs that the waiters cannot explain. The staff here is not friendly anyway and the service is certainly not. We had ordered a bottle of water for €4.50 and had to pay an extra €3.50 per person for a glass; forced tip? In any case, it's definitely not worth eating here because it's way too overpriced and the selection of restaurants on the piazza is so big that you could go somewhere else.

Eating and drinking in the middle of the square is truly wonderful, thanks to the good weather and the sun that was starting to set, the stop was an excellent friend of the day. Hot chocolate served at the right temperature and accompanied by a biscuit that goes perfectly. The choice of teas and herbal teas that are brought to the table is excellent. The only note is that the service material should be reviewed a bit: a saucer arrived chipped, as was the hot water brick for the herbal tea. Overall a good place to relax and enjoy something warm.

Super nice place to have a bite while visiting the piazza in Sienna I had the antipasto Tscana and my buddy had the pizza Margaret. The server Viktor was super Friendly and we had a good chat about Peru and the US. If visiting you should stop in and enjoy the food and sites the abound.

Located in the center of the city, this restaurant not only offers a beautiful view of the square in front of the town hall, but also very good food and friendly staff. A real recommendation!

Best Lasagne i've ever had. And very good Service.

We were skeptical at first because the restaurant is in a very touristy location, but we were pleasantly surprised. It's not exactly cheap, but all 4 dishes we ordered were very good and the service was friendly!
