Bar Grotta Azzurra In Guanzate

21/08/2026: A charming place, completely overlooking the lake, inside, with no traffic noise or anything else. A 20th-century villa converted into a guesthouse, with a piano in the restaurant lounge, and rooms above with lake views, balconies, and access to the very private pool. Unfortunately, the cuisine isn't top-notch, but rather basic, and the wine list is truly subpar, bearing in mind that we are the largest and best wine producer in the world.

18/06/2026: Delicious drink/lunch spot at lake Como. The restaurant is part of a beautiful hotel on the water. I think we got the hotel’s lunch menu, which was slightly different from the regular restaurant menu, but the food was fantastic. The staff spoke perfect English and the service was excellent. Our waiter was very passionate about the region and enthusiastically explained which wine we should take. The food is definitely pricier than other places. Panna cotta was slightly disappointing, but the tiramisu was great.
