I stopped for breakfast on Wednesday morning. There was only one lady serving and working the cash register. Very good. Excellent cappuccino and brioche.

Bargatto is a little gem that wins you over at the first sip (and bite!). The aperitifs are simply exceptional, prepared with top-quality ingredients that you can taste with every bite. Making the experience even more special is Valeria, the owner: an impeccable hostess, always smiling and with a rare kindness, capable of making you feel immediately at ease. And then... the crowning glory: the super-mega ham and cheese toastie. A masterpiece. Crispy, stringy, generous, and absolutely irresistible—the best I've ever eaten in my life. A place to return to again and again, each time with a smile. 💛

My husband and I often go to Bargatto and I have to say it's amazing! The staff is always kind and helpful and the food is delicious 🤤 and fresh! I recommend it if you don't know where to go for breakfast, a quick lunch, or a tasty snack! The best!

La Locanda del Gatto Rosso

08/12/2025: The restaurant is located in a gallery, so the location is stunning. It's very elegant and well-decorated, and the staff is friendly and professional (especially the very charming red-haired waiter). We had a delicious risotto alla milanese in a parmesan crust. The cotoletta alla milanese is a must-try, as the meat melted in your mouth. The bill is a bit steep, but the location justifies it. We'll definitely be back.
07/12/2025: The carbonara was decent, but the place clearly lacks the basics: spices and olive oil. We hadn't even had time to dress the salad before the waiter took it away to serve it to another table. In my opinion, this is unusual. The salads themselves weren't bad, but we noticed something strange: we had two Caesar salads, but they were visibly different. One had a lot of cheese, the other almost none. It's really strange to serve such different portions at the same table. Otherwise, everything was more or less acceptable.
