Excellent value for money and authentic ambience from local customers and business travelers visiting the ham town of San Daniele. At Picaron everything revolves around the specialties of their own ham and sausage production. The ham platter does not contain any distractions such as greens or frills so as not to distract from the carnal delights. The various open wines and the Prosecco are great. The staff is extremely courteous and multilingual. This is where the dealers and other professionals around the San Daniele meet. It's international. Tourists are politely tolerated and served. But they don't play a role there. This makes it all the more exciting to watch the hustle and bustle there while eating the delicious ham.

They deserve all these stars. They are really good. Rooms absolutely clean and spacious. Everything is well taken care of, both the common areas and the dining rooms. Attentive and kind staff. Convenient parking. Excellent value for money

Always delicious ham (I've been coming back here every year for some time), this time the surprise of a food-carrying robot. Nice but clumsy... luckily there are some splendid real maids who "help" him 🤣🤣

Breve sosta a pranzo per un panino con il prosciutto locale. Peccato non aver potuto assaggiare nessun vino, ma hanno una cantina piuttosto fornita.

I stopped for a quick sandwich before going to the stadium, I must say that the ham is of excellent quality and the size is generous, the white Friulian is special, the courtesy is there!

I ate immediately upon arrival of the Picaron tasting, the food was excellent and above all excellent cleanliness and friendly staff, I would add a bit of music to the place to make it more lively, otherwise nothing to say

30/04/2025: Wonderful place located on the main road at the entrance to Marano. Simple in decor but pleasant with the obviously maritime theme. The staff is super friendly and kind, accompanying us throughout the meal. Coming to the dishes, what can I say are sublime and delicious!!! The freshest raw material!!! Flaws: none. A place to keep in mind and stop to enjoy an excellent fish-based meal. We went to visit them on Easter day: on that day I had prepared a wonderful menu, with the necessary breaks between one course and the other. Fair price for what they offered.
15/04/2025: Bisato in speo…. There was one variant left, perhaps the most interesting is the one most linked to the lagoon territory. “At the three channels” I had the opportunity to taste eel in this way, perhaps the oldest but also the longest and most complex. Slow. Every dish offered is interesting, with attention to form and substance.

15/04/2025: Simple but very welcoming trattoria, exquisite food (absolutely worth trying and of the highest quality, it doesn't get any better than this), fast and very kind service. The owners are very nice, I hope to return soon!
