Bar D 'Amore is my favorite place! Every time I go in, I immediately feel at home. Today I took two arancini for my children and the ragù inside is amazing, just like the one my grandmother used to make! And let's not even talk about the granitas: the pistachio one is something spectacular! If you're hungry at lunch, you can be sure that you'll find everything you need there, from super sandwiches to dishes of the day. For me, they are the number one! A big thank you to the whole team: Michele, Salvo, Gabriele, Salvo, Calogero, Fabio and Vincenzo. If you haven't been there yet, you absolutely have to stop by!

Il Bar D ‘ Amore è il mio posto del cuore! Ogni volta che ci entro, mi sento subito a casa. Oggi ho preso due arancine per i miei figli e il ragù dentro è pazzesco, proprio come quello che faceva la mia nonna! E non parliamo delle granite: quella al pistacchio è qualcosa di spettacolare! Se hai fame a pranzo, puoi stare sicuro che lì trovi tutto quello che ti serve, dai panini super ai piatti del giorno. Per me, sono i numeri uno! Un grande grazie a tutto il team: Michele, Salvo, Gabriele, Salvo , Calogero, Fabio e Vincenzo .Se non ci siete ancora stati, dovete assolutamente farci un salto!

Il bar è ubicato in una zona periferica, tra il Villaggio Ruffini e il quartiere Pallavicino. Consigliato da un conoscente, si è rivelato una piacevole sorpresa per la pasticceria prodotta: pasticcini realizzati con maestria e attenzione alla presentazione. Davvero buoni! Buonissimi i cestini con panna e fragoline. Variegata l’offerta di torte (gelato e non) Nulla da invidiare a più note pasticcerie palermitane. Mi riservo un aggiornamento in merito alla rosticceria, difficile banco di prova della ristorazione palermitana. Un ammodernamento dei locali non ci starebbe male. Comunque bravi!

01/02/2026: Neither bad nor praiseworthy! The place was average: we had arancini, crostini, and eggplant meatballs as appetizers, followed by busiate with fried eggplant and salted ricotta (very good and well-received), mixed grill, beccafico sardines, and swordfish rolls. The appetizers were clearly reheated, so much so that one arancini was cold. Overall, everything else was average.
29/01/2026: Hi all, my first choice Osteria Nonna was full. This place was recommended by my Airbnb. Price is not as cheap as anonna but still reasonable. I got greedy. Even when eating alone I had a full 3 course meal. They had an English menu. I had the caponata. At 9€ quite expensive but very tasty. Soft eggplant with a tomato slightly sweet sauce. Portion was big and easy to eat with two or more with bread. As pasta I chose the pasta with sardines. Well it wasn’t my taste and didn’t enjoy it. The plate was huge. Again enough to share. 12€ seems fair for the amount. Frankly a-pettier and pasta is more than enough for non Italian eaters. But I was greedy and wanted to try the mix grill with swordfish, squid and prawns.at 16€ it was really cheap. But was not perfect. The prawn was overcooked, refried? The squid was surprisingly tough. Swordfish was OK. But I have had better in Milan. In the end I couldn’t recommend it for a second time. For this 3 dishes I ended up at 44€. To expensive. But the amount of food is more than fair

28/01/2026: Exceptional restaurant with top-quality, always fresh ingredients. Highly recommended for banquets, too. I've always had a great experience and have been coming here for many years.
21/01/2026: We've passed this restaurant several times, always intrigued by its architecture, and during a visit to the Antiquarium of Himera, we decided to make a reservation to satisfy our curiosity. I must say it was a great choice: the beautiful setting exudes rural history and retains an authentic aspect, including a millstone and tools. The service was very professional and genuinely friendly, and the dishes were meticulously prepared, plentiful, and truly delicious. We were amazed by the appetizer buffet, featuring a wide variety of locally sourced artichokes, battered cardoons and broccoli, and the seafood-based pasta dishes. The prices are absolutely in line with the quality offered.
