Delicious bicerin! A well-deserved refreshment after the chaos of the markets. We were lucky to snag the only free table: the bar was very chaotic, crowded even with people standing around, and the space was poorly managed. Waiters rushed and bumped into you, and there was a never-ending line for the bathroom (unusable). But the bicerin was worth it! Nice bar.

Once upon a time, it was the Cocchi. The center of city life. All the day's news passed through here; you could wait and meet whoever you wanted. Today, it's just a bar in one of the city's most strategic locations. But the soul that once lived there is no more.

A bar in a great location... We were passing through Asti and stopped for an aperitivo. I'd say it was very good, especially the classic Moscato di Asti. We bought two bottles to take home (we're from Verona 😁). The best thing is the various appetizers they bring with the aperitivo. I highly recommend it.

22/08/2025: We went for dinner and were treated wonderfully throughout the evening. The menu varies depending on the cuisine, but the owners always try to accommodate your requests. We ate really well and had the Recco focaccia, the agnolotti, a delicious beef diaphragm, and delicious cream ice cream with sage. The best thing about the evening, besides the delicious food, was the pleasant company of the owner, who was always available and friendly. Overall, this is a highly recommended place for a simple evening, different from the usual, but still capable of leaving you with great satisfaction and smiles.

Ristorante Il Bagatto

08/11/2025: I went to the Bagatto restaurant on my annual visit to the village of Grazzano to buy agnolotti. I ordered boiled meat and veal with tuna sauce, while my father ordered tartare and a plate of agnolotti. All washed down with a house wine and a hazelnut cake. What can I say? I didn't even have time to order, and within 5 minutes, the dishes arrived. The appetizers were very good, really, a lot. After those, the main courses arrived, which were also very good, including a large selection of boiled meats with various cuts. Nothing to complain about, I'll definitely be back. They also offer dishes with truffles.
01/11/2025: The appetizers were excellent, but the first course (tagliolini with truffle) didn't quite live up to expectations. Still, it was adequate.
