Bar Cocchi In Asti

Excellent bar, renowned in Asti, always friendly staff.

A bar in a great location... We were passing through Asti and stopped for an aperitivo. I'd say it was very good, especially the classic Moscato di Asti. We bought two bottles to take home (we're from Verona 😁). The best thing is the various appetizers they bring with the aperitivo. I highly recommend it.

The menus are worn, the tables are wobbly and sticky, the service is unmotivated. The snacks are odd. The drinks are okay.

Very good coffee, excellent cornetti and focaccia. The waitresses were a bit listless and distracted, but the drinks and food made up for it.

At Cocchi the aperitif is a must. I tasted their Vermouth with ice and a slice of orange, accompanied by tasty appetizers...a marvel

Apart from the lack of availability and education... they could clean up the wooden tables a bit... sticky
