Bar Cavour Ristorante e Bistrot In Cernobbio

A very nice place for an aperitivo near the lake. It's located right on the square, with a lovely atmosphere and fair prices. The food is also good, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the moment.

We stopped for lunch at this restaurant before visiting Villa Erba. I was looking for a lakeside restaurant that served perch risotto. I ate it, and it was excellent, as was the presentation of the cold cuts and cheese platter with fried gnocco, all accompanied by the kindness of the staff.

First, the positives: Very nice waiter who spoke very good English. The view is good – despite being in the second row. The pizza was okay. Cons: We had to pay €10 for our child for plain pasta (without oil, sauce, etc.), which I find cheeky. Plus €2.50 for the coperto. So, we paid €12.50.

Lovely spot for a delicious coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice in the sunshine. Bruschetta - bread was a bit too supermarkety-looking and tomatoes were kinda watery.

We stopped here on our way through. The spritz and the cocktail were impeccable, but even though there's a gelateria there and ice cream was on the menu, we couldn't get any ice cream for one of our fellow travelers.

A place worthy of being called: SPECTACULAR! From the fresh food to the service, to the ambiance, everything is SO SO SO CAREFUL! It will definitely become my second home 🙂

I stopped for an aperitivo. Excellent value for money. The aperitivo was delicious, accompanied (upon request) by a platter of quality products.

My husband and I recently hosted our wedding week festivies at MGCavour - Ristorante e Bar in Cernobbio, and we couldn't be happier with our experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home - mind you, we never let them know that we were coming with 100+ people! They seamlessly handled our large group of over 100+ people, ensuring that everyone was well taken care of. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for our celebrations.
