Very good ragu pasta Prices not the highest

Good food, friendly staff, good price.

Awesome place we stumbled upon as we were walking back. We arrived right before they were going to close (until dinner I think), but the woman working there welcomed us and did a great job speaking English with us. Food was good to boot.

This was a great little spot. We had spent the morning at the Santuario della Beata Vergine di San Luca and walked back through the covered 666 arches ( approx4 kms) back toward Bologna. Tired, parched, and sore and sorry for ourselves we looked for a place to rest from the heat. Then this very fabulous bar / restaurant appeared. We were welcomed in by one of the owners and promptly given peanuts and crisps as they waited for our drinks selection. We chose a couple of shandies ( they patiently listened as we explained what a shandy was - they said they knew it as a “bicycle” ? ) The lady behind the bar talked us through the history of the bar and also her artwork which adorned a chalkboard surface. The place had great atmosphere and a truely engaging staff. Well worth a look.

È stato un incontro casuale, ma destinato, con questo gioiello culinario che mi ha lasciato senza parole. Ogni boccone racconta una storia di passione e dedizione alla tradizione culinaria emiliana. La cucina casalinga, preparata con ingredienti freschi e genuini, trasuda amore e semplicità. Ho assaporato una pasta e fagioli che ha conquistato il mio palato con un equilibrio perfetto di sapori. Accanto, un bicchiere di San Giovese ha completato l'esperienza gastronomica in modo sublime. Ciò che mi ha sorpreso di più è stata l'atmosfera intima e accogliente che pervade il locale. Il personale cordiale e premuroso aggiunge un tocco di familiarità che rende ogni visita un'esperienza memorabile. Le raccomandazioni della signora cuoca sono un must: fidarsi del suo sapere culinario è garanzia di soddisfazione. Infine, anche i dolci meritano menzione: una selezione che delizia ogni goloso con la sua freschezza e bontà. Se cercate un'esperienza culinaria autentica e senza fronzoli nel cuore di Bologna, l'Osteria Bar Caffè Margherita è il luogo perfetto. Un vero tesoro nascosto che merita di essere scoperto e apprezzato da tutti gli amanti del buon cibo e dell'ospitalità genuina

Very nice authentic shop. The ragout and tortellini are typical of Bologna. The food is completely homemade. The chocolate dessert is an insider tip. We ended up here at lunchtime by chance because no one was open. But are very satisfied
