And as is so often the case, it's the small restaurants outside the center that you stumble upon by chance. Although "small" doesn't quite fit the word; it's just inconspicuous from the outside. I had the best ragù here on the last day of my week-long trip to Emilia-Romagna, and for a whopping €10. Add to that the friendly service—I suspect it was the owners themselves. They even gave me free tips on how to make it at home. ;) Thank you so much!

Site on the outskirts of the historic center, in a certain sense on the way to the convent of San Luca. It is not instagrammable so if you are looking for that, flee to another unfortunate place. The food is absolutely homemade and with love, recommended the pecorino and pear tortelloni and the cotoleta. The dessert was mascarpone and it literally is what it says it is, delicious mascarpone. The service is very attentive and friendly, the place if you eat outside is a bit crowded. Good price.

Visitamos este encantador restaurante tradicional para el almuerzo y luego volvimos de nuevo al día siguiente para la cena. La comida era deliciosa y los anfitriones eran amables y deseosos de compartir delicias locales.

The food is normal. There are definitely nicer places. €16 for half a liter of red wine seemed like a lot to us. Pointing this out, he told me that the bottle costs €22 so the half liter costs €16. Overall expensive for the type of place and food.

21/07/2025: EATING WELL AND SPENDING RIGHT IS STILL POSSIBLE... Discovered by chance and out of necessity (a graduation lunch). We hit it off right away, and it wasn't difficult to organize a great event with them. The tortellini were excellent, and overall everything was delicious and generously portioned. The value for money was 6 stars. Honorable mention to Chiara and all the staff... thank you for helping us end a wonderful day with what they call "the icing on the cake"...
07/07/2025: A place where you can feel comfortable, eat well, and have reasonable prices. I appreciate the kindness and friendliness they have shown Milagros.

25/01/2025: Este bar / restaurante estaba cerca de nuestro hotel y después de un día disfrutando de Bolonia era el lugar perfecto para tener una cena. En ambas noches el lugar tiene un zumbido maravilloso. La clientela va desde grupos familiares hasta estudiantes y jóvenes profesionales. Todos eran lugareños, y donde comen los lugareños es suficiente para mí también. La comida era excelente. Preciosa selección de vinos y cervezas. Valor excepcional. Gracias Julia por tus recomendaciones, bienvenida y entusiasmo, pero hay que decir que todo el equipo allí fue fantástico. Volvería en un santiamén.
