Excellent granita and really good brioches

Strawberry and almond granita with sublime cream, then the brioches are always fresh

We visited this bar and had a wonderful time! The place is clean, welcoming, and well-maintained. The service was truly excellent: the staff was kind, smiling, and very helpful. We ordered granitas with accompanying brioche, and everything was delicious. I'm lactose intolerant, and the woman who served us was extremely attentive: she explained in detail which granitas I could have and, without me even asking, offered me a dairy-free brioche alternative. Even though the brioche she brought me was both lactose-free and gluten-free, I really enjoyed it and it was surprisingly good! It's rare to find such attention to intolerances. I recommend this bar both for the quality of the products and for the professionalism and kindness of the staff. We'll definitely be back!

The best granita in the whole area!!!

I returned after years and found a clear deterioration. Rude service, unclean rooms, bathrooms in disreputable conditions and very smelly (the smell was so strong it reached the adjacent bar area). The granita was nothing special; there are much better ones.

We stopped before catching the ferry and were delighted! The croissants were sublime, warm and generously filled. The ricotta used for the croissants and cannoli is truly heavenly: fresh, light, and tasty. Fair prices and friendly, helpful staff.

Excellent bar for breakfast before boarding. Fantastic cappuccino and even better croissants. They're open from 4:00 a.m., ensuring service even for those departing early. Very helpful staff.

I was looking for a place to eat near the Messina train station/boarding area, and here I found the perfect spot. First of all, the location: it's just steps from the Messina train station and the hydrofoil boarding area for Villa/Reggio. I had an almond granita, and it was sublime. I hadn't had a granita like this in years: good, not too sweet, and full of almonds (which isn't always a given). A few days earlier, I had an arancini with meat sauce, which was excellent. The staff was exquisite, kind, and friendly. Thank you 🥰

I stopped by randomly to grab a quick gelato before leaving and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality and generous amount of gelato in the cup. They only have a few flavors available, but that's not a bad thing. Few but good! Next time I'll try the granita; it looks great! The staff is kind and friendly.
