Nestled between the courthouse, the Capo market, and a stone's throw from the Teatro Massimo, this bar comes to life in the evenings, offering a menu of "gularia" (sweet pastries) for anyone craving something sweet. I had a truly delicious pistachio cream krapfen, as well as a Carnival chat. I'll definitely be back to try the croissants.

On your first visit, you're just another tourist; on your second, you're recognized; and by your third, you're part of the local scene. ☺️ A lovely Italian coffee bar, right across from the Porta Carini, just steps from the Mercato dello Capo. They have delicious cornetti and excellent cookies: the buccellati are especially good! I feel very comfortable here and love the lively atmosphere, the café, and the staff!

A nice place to start the day. Cafe & briosh. We asked a lady in the market where is the best place to take a good coffee and she pointed us to this place. The only problem is that it's too sunny.

Cafe Royal

04/03/2026: The food was very good, the restaurant and the atmosphere were bright and welcoming, but the service was quite the opposite. We immediately felt unwelcome. There was no smile when we ordered or when we were served. After our meal, the staff even subtly made us feel like we should leave as quickly as possible to clear the table. Unfortunately, this ruined our entire evening 😩 There's definitely room for improvement in how they treat their guests.
17/02/2026: Delicious food. There were eight of us and we ate our fill for 80 euros. The best pizza in Palermo!

01/03/2026: The service was very friendly. The drinks were some of the best, the ice cream, coffee, and sweets were all excellent. The place has a great atmosphere, highly recommended. Six people all left happy. I recommend it.
