I had breakfast there and a pizza there in the evening. It has a magnificent view of the Montalcino valley; otherwise, the place has simple, very spartan decor, but its true value lies in being a meeting place for the locals, the real ones. The croissants are average, but that's something it shares with other bars in town. The pizza is very good. The service is courteous, and the quality/price ratio is good.

28/12/2025: I dined at this restaurant and the experience was truly five-star. It's a very beautiful place in the heart of San Gimignano. I ate very well; from appetizers to desserts, there were many interesting dishes. The service was excellent; the waiter treated us very well. The bill was in line with the price. Honorable mention for the very well-curated and extensive wine list.

08/01/2026: We stayed at the hotel next door and had dinner here. The place was very beautiful and well-appointed, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. I broke a glass as soon as I arrived, but they were very kind in fixing it right away. My son's pasta with ragù was excellent, the tagliolini alla Pescatoria was very good, as were the cold cuts. Perhaps only the liver pâté was a bit "no." I had fried lamb chops, perhaps a little too breaded, but good! My cuttlefish and artichoke salad was excellent, and the tiramisu was perhaps one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommended restaurant, everything was really good. The bill was also reasonable.
06/01/2026: I had a wonderful time at this restaurant, thanks in particular to the lovely Klerjan, who handled my requests with great care. I had the buffalo mozzarella pizza, which was truly exceptional!
