There were 3 of us, the pizza was very good and we recommend it, and two pasta dishes, one pasta with tomato sauce and the other with ragu-bologne. The pasta is not prepared at the moment, so you can tell it has been sitting for a while. The sauces did not have guanciale. The salad was excellent.

Our go to breakfast spot in Cortona! The staff works very hard and the food is excellent! Do not expect McDonald's fast food service in Italy, it's worth the wait! Thank you Emma!

Absolutely LOVE Bar 500, great breakfast and lunch spot, definitely stop by! I was studying abroad in Cortona for 3 weeks and had to stop by every couple of days, I couldn’t stay away! Emma gives the best service and my group of girls loved going by to stay hi and getting to know her. Pizza was so so so delicious and the coffees were always perfect!

The outside seating along an ancient pedestrian roadway with stone streets sets the atmosphere. The owner is super kind and helpful with great recommendations. An absolute must visit.

The food was delicious, whether it was pizza or salad. Service only gets one star. In Italy, the service charge, called coperta, is almost always included on the bill. Here, in addition to the coperta, the receipt also includes an additional 10% service charge. A disgrace! Therefore, only three stars overall, and that's still nice! Eight out of 40 euros was for the coperta/service.

Wow—what a gem in the heart of Cortona! Bar 500 served up the BEST pancake I’ve ever had in my life. The limoncello pancake with whipped cream was absolute perfection—fluffy, sweet, and bursting with flavor. Huge shoutout to Emma, our amazing server, who made the experience even more memorable with her kindness and energy. Do not leave Cortona without stopping here!

Ci siamo fermati in questo locale con la mia amica e abbiamo consumato una insalatona e una caprese. Prodotti buoni, freschi, servizio veloce anche se il localino è molto piccolo per cui non c'è tanto spazio per muoversi, ma l'arredamento è veramente carino e molto curato. Per una pausa veloce o un semplice pranzo lo consiglio!
