Great pastries (cannoli 🤤) and lovely Italian coffee kicked off our first day in Cortona perfectly. Server was super charming - recognised our Irish brogue.

Many outside tables available. Service was good. Food so-so. Not a particularly good choice for wine drinkers as well. But overall, ok.

Cute little place on the busy main street in Cortona. Perfect for stopping for a short while for a coffee and pastry - we didn't have any proper food. Staff were charming and helpful and spoke great English

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel extremely welcomed by Emma the owner and her staff. The food was fantastic, we had a couple of pizzas and finished off with a magnificent coffee and hot chocolate. The highlight of our visit was Emma who was extremely friendly caring and welcoming. It was as if we had gone into her home. Thank you so much Emma and the team for a truly wonderful lunch and we would recommend people visit you when in Cortona. We just spent a week in Cortona and Bar 500 was our go-to spot for breakfast, lunch, or a light dinner. Wonderful smiles and warm welcomes.

Great little Cafe/restaurant. Authentic and delicious Italian food. Serve light meals, cakes, drinks and lunch/dinner. Excellent coffee, friendly and helpful staff, excellent service. Tried several dishes (lunch & dinner) over 2 day stay, was not disappointed. This was my go to place. Definitely recommend. What a little gem! Reasonably priced as well!!

13/07/2024: Abbiamo trascorso una splendida serata, in un posto tranquillo e rilassante. Ottima esperienza e cibi sopraffini, curati e molto ricercati. Complimenti.
16/06/2024: Ein sehr spezielles Michelin Restaurant. Aktuell sehr viel fermentierte und vegetarische Gerichte. Sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal, nach dem Essen konnten wir auch noch den Küchenchef persönlich kennenlernen, ein sehr sympathischer Mensch. Das Design und Konzept des Lokals gefällt mir gut. Schade war das nicht alle Tische belegt waren, das hätte sich die tolle Mannschaft verdien. Die Reservierung hat wie erwartet geklappt ( es wurde auch noch mal nachgefragt und erinnert)
