Bambi Trippa e Lampredotto In Firenze

I took a sandwich with Lampredotto and one with porchetta, very good and quick.

We came here as this place was recommended by a local guide. The queue was pretty long when we came but it run fast - we managed to get our lampredotto/trippa sandwiches prepared in 10/15 minutes. As the place does not have any seats we found space on the second floor of the market. The lampredotto sandwich was juicy and the “green” and spicy sauces complemented it well. The trippa sandwich was not as good - but I believe the “soup” format would have suited trippa better (I will try next time). Note that the lampredotto/trippa are both parts of the stomach and have a peculiar texture that may not be for everyone!

It's hectic because there are so many people, but the staff is friendly! But the taste was strange, and the fishy smell of the tripe upset my stomach a little. I like tripe, but the two of us ate half of it and threw it away because of the fishy smell of tripe. Before eating it, I said I liked the smell of tripe burgers and was looking forward to the taste, but after eating this, just smelling tripe burgers around me upset my stomach. If you have a weak stomach, I recommend ordering just one dish with several people to see if it suits your taste and then ordering more.

I think it's the most sincere place to eat at the market. Crostini that are more than crostoni at very low prices! Excellent meat and environment.

Stew tripe and eat it with bread. It’s so comfortable to eat in winter!

Excellent tripe, both on the plate and in the sandwich.

Definitely the best Tripa and Lampredotto in Florence! Not to mention the delicious salad which was really outstanding with the spicy sauce. The friendly and attentive service from Oliver and Chris gives Bambi a very special touch. Many greetings from Munich! Always ask for the spicy sauce :)

Attratti dalle recensioni positive, abbiamo deciso di assaggiare il panino con il lampredotto ed anche quello con la lingua che abbiamo trovato eccellente. Il lampredotto buono ma non superlativo. Rapporto qualità / prezzo molto buono. Se siete amanti del quinto quarto Vi consigliamo una visita al Mercato centrale di Firenze dove, al secondo piano, troverete i chioschi della Famiglia BAMBI.

È una bottega all'interno del mercato centrale , e non offre posti a sedere, ma se volete mangiare un panino spettacolare con il lesso od il lampredotto è l'indirizzo giusto.
