Balzi Rossi In

Joli panorama sur la baie de Menton, un intérieur dépouillé et soigné. La cuisine est de bonne qualité tout comme les produits. Cependant je trouve le rapport qualité prix décevant bien sûr en le comparant aux établissements de même catégorie : 150€/personne sans les vins pour entrée plat et dessert. Pour une étoile dans un lieu qui n’est pas absolument extraordinaire, cela me paraît un peu cher. Mais les assiettes sont bien remplies (!) et bien exécutées, alors à chacun de voir !

We visited this place in the New Year. The situation is spectacular right on the water. Even in January when the sun is out we were able to sit outside for coffee. But we came for the food and this was spectucular. Same for the service. What a treat, we were so lucky to start the New Year !

We returned to Balzi Rossi after the summer but with a bit of disappointment... the raw fish dish was of excellent quality but the quantity was not adequate for the high price. The first course of spaghetti with bottarga and raw prawns I would say was too elaborate with excessive sauce and the bottarga was very camouflaged. The calvados cream ice cream is excellent. The environment is a bit cold... all of which can be remedied in my opinion given the starry background.

A magical place. Chef Enrico Marmo highlights the products of local artisans and reveals their flavors through his creations. Spontaneity, finesse and balance characterize its dishes, perfectly accompanied by the wines offered by the talented Lorenzo Moraldo. Eleonora ensures that customers are pampered.

Esattamente dopo un anno rifacciamo visita allo Chef Enrico Marmo. Decidiamo di mangiare alla carta e, contrariamente alla prima volta dove optando per il Menù Momento eravamo rimasti entusiasti dalla cucina pulita e non omologata, troviamo la proposta tradizionale, anche nelle cotture e nei condimenti con più di un ammiccamento alla vicina Francia. Ovviamente lo Chef è bravo, ma ci piace decisamente di più quando osa. Location e servizio restano al top.

Nice Sunday lunch with the family, enchanting place, attentive and kind service, no problems with allergies and even though I can't eat gluten I had a menu adapted to my needs... flavors that I won't quickly forget... truly delicious cuisine, see you soon.

truly beautiful location overlooking the sea with great views. internally refined and minimalist. about ten tables. food prepared and studied to perfection with great cuisine combinations the rabbit ravioli was divine. the only flaw is that the dinner is not too intimate because as there are various tables... I will definitely come back anyway

Wonderful location by the sea, we opted for the 7-course tasting menu with international wine pairing. Personally, a more than apt choice, the kitchen and the room made us feel wonderful emotions along the way. The guys in the room had fun with the combination, letting us try goodies and products of the highest quality.

We absolutely loved the atmosphere — the view was incredible and the vibe, as always, made this place feel magical. However, there were a few downsides: there was too much bread ( the bread selection was tasty and diverse, but there was simply too much of it) and the tasting menu lacked descriptions (I prefer to at least see the names of the dishes). There were no complimentary treats or petits fours with the coffee, which is usually a nice touch (Just as we’re used to with Michelin standards and how we love it! 😉 ). Additionally, the first two courses were overly salted — quite excessively so. It’s possible the head chef wasn’t working that day, and the oversalting may not have been his doing. In any case, this place remains our gem, and we absolutely love this restaurant. Highly recommended! Out of the seven-course menu, we particularly enjoyed the mushroom soup, which was outstanding, the Animella/miele with beluga(absolutely exquisite), and the apple tart with 🍥 cream for dessert — delicious! A special mention to the sommelier 🍇🥂🍷🍾, who was very friendly and professional🫶🏼. From the main menu , I highly recommend ordering the ravioli and the raw seafood/fish set — it’s the signature offering here . The chef🌟 puts in great effort and his talent is undeniable — no questions about that 🙏🏼♥️ And I forgot !!! the Arlecchino (delicate white fish with a crispy skin) grilled to perfection — it was absolutely wow! 🤩

It was really nice to come to this restaurant after taking the train a long way into Italy. But the location of the restaurant is closer to the French border than the town to which the local postcode belongs. My wife and I felt that the whole menu didn't really appeal to us, even though we are big fans of fish. The highlight of the menu was undoubtedly the dessert, but it was way too big, they could have put all these ingredients nicely on one plate instead of serving it in six different bowls. The service was absolutely 5 stars, but the food and interior 4. My husband and I agreed that the room needed more warmth and the pictures on the walls did not fit into the overall picture.
