There is no possibility of parking except for something at the entrance to the museum.

A fine, gourmet menu, impeccable, efficient, and warm service, and a sumptuous setting—a terrace literally overlooking the sea. A wonderful experience in every way.

A big thank you for this wonderful evening. The service was perfect and professional. The setting was incredible. Everything we ate was perfectly cooked. However, I admit I was disappointed on a few points... We had a 7-course menu: two starters, one of which was cold, the second being hot fish...then two pasta dishes, and then two more hot fish dishes. I admit that a second fresh starter with vegetables in the middle of summer would have suited me better than hot fish, even though I already had some in my two main courses. I would have actually liked to eat fish a little more refined than swordfish and amberjack, especially in a Michelin-starred restaurant. I was also disappointed at the end of the meal, the gourmet moment...we only had one dessert and no pre-dessert or petit four, not even a square of chocolate with coffee. We were just offered a basket of fruit from the garden... I, who am very greedy, felt very frustrated. Personally, I don't come to a Michelin-starred restaurant to eat fresh fruit.

Excellent restaurant. The dishes are all based on seafood and vegetables, light and fresh with incredible flavours. If you like seafood you cannot miss this.

Ventimiglia: Balzi Rossi, a unique place.

We love this out of time spot on the Italian side right at the border with france! Retro-chic, the food is unbelievable (especially the fish and pastas); the spot is great, music very nice, the sea, beautiful… It’s a bit pricey of course but way less than the equally fancy spots in france, and way more elegant!

An experience not to be repeated. After notifying the reservation staff that I didn't eat seafood and reiterating this to the waiter, the first appetizer they served was shrimp with a sauce! Lack of attention... after dessert, they informed us that they would bring fruit, which was preceded by coffee... Lack of attention... service not up to par for a one-star restaurant.

Very disappointed after several previous visits. Food was average at best, staff was disengaged and spending more time on cellphones then taking care of guests

La ubicación es impresionante - tuvimos una hermosa vista del mar Mediterráneo y la ciudad de Menton desde la terraza del restaurante Balzi Rossi - y la comida es excelente (todo estaba lleno de sabor y cocinado perfectamente: crema de alcachofa y ramitas de romero con galletas saladas y queso parmesano para la diversión - bouche; una sopa de calabacín, guisantes, judías verdes, judías de lima, y camarones para el aperitivo; seguido de calamares y pulpo con risone; un plato de besugo con hinojo y salsa holandesa; y un postre con fresa, ruibarbo, yogur griego de vainilla, y trocitos de sésamo para completar la comida). El personal era profesional, amable y atento.

Il Balzi Rossi è uno storico locale al confine tra la Francia e l’Italia collocato in una suggestiva posizione a picco sul mare. Lo chef Enrico Marmo è ritornato a guidare la cucina dei Balzi Rossi dopo 9 anni dalla sua prima esperienza. La sua è una cucina rivolta al territorio e alla ricerca di materie prime di qualità con un occhio anche alla vicina Francia. Le sue creazioni son ben eseguite e presentate in maniera molta curata con un attenzione maniacale al bilanciamento tra i sapori, i colori e i profumi. Il personale di sala è giovane ma ben preparato e molto attento alle esigenze della clientela. Carta dei vini molto interessante. In poche parole una piacevole esperienza in una bellissima location .
