Just a little quick between courses, no time to appreciate the wines, otherwise very good food. 👍

Balzi Rossi is a place with historical values. I went for the place and not for the restaurants. Left Ventimiglia on foot after an immersion in the Friday market. The walking route is very beautiful. You walk along the "Via Iulia" often interrupted for works of all kinds. The route is varied between state paths and tunnels. The calanques of Ventimiglia are beautiful. Worth a stop. They are not indicated...ask passers-by. Once you arrive in Balzi Rossi, an oasis of peace awaits you. Small beach and many rocks. To return to Ventimiglia, the French line 25 of Colle di Tenda takes you back for 1.80 euros which you can buy directly on the bus. The stop is on the Menton seafront. Read the posts until you find the one with the 25 Curtains. Return time 6.30pm.

I thank the staff, especially Lorenzo, for the kindness and welcome given to me, making my stomach immediately feel at ease ;-) The dinner was delicious: the fantasy of raw fish proposed to me prepared with fresh ingredients, presented with care and the flavor was delicious. The elegant setting and relaxing atmosphere were perfect for enjoying a good dinner while forgetting the usual working day. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality and impeccable service. As soon as the opportunity presents itself I will be happy to return, in company, to be able to taste the wines too <3

Balzi Rossi is a historic venue on the border between France and Italy located in a suggestive position overlooking the sea. Chef Enrico Marmo has returned to lead the kitchen of Balzi Rossi after 9 years from his first experience. His is a cuisine aimed at the territory and the search for quality raw materials with an eye also to the neighbourhood France. His creations are well executed and presented in a very careful manner with obsessive attention to the balance between flavours, colors and aromas. The dining room staff is young but well trained and very attentive to customer needs. Very interesting wine list. In short, a pleasant experience in a beautiful location.

Notre déjeuner fut absolument parfait. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueilli par toute l’équipe du restaurant, le déjeuner surprise était un délice, tout était parfait. La vue absolument splendide, nous y retournerons.

Esattamente dopo un anno rifacciamo visita allo Chef Enrico Marmo. Decidiamo di mangiare alla carta e, contrariamente alla prima volta dove optando per il Menù Momento eravamo rimasti entusiasti dalla cucina pulita e non omologata, troviamo la proposta tradizionale, anche nelle cotture e nei condimenti con più di un ammiccamento alla vicina Francia. Ovviamente lo Chef è bravo, ma ci piace decisamente di più quando osa. Location e servizio restano al top.
