For the "ecstasy and matter" column, I went to the "Bagno Adriatico 62" beach club in Cesenatico on Tuesday evening for a (very special) coordination/aperitivo with my colleagues, and I was reminded of the wonderful comedy film "Acapulco Prima Spiaggia a sinistra" (starring Gigi and Andrea), where some scenes were filmed on Cesenatico's eastern beach (just steps from this charming and welcoming beach club). In my opinion, Bagno Adriatico 62 is a genuine and truly Romagna-style place because you immediately feel at home. The staff is friendly and super professional, welcoming you with a smile. The dishes we sampled, with our feet in the sand and comfortable chairs, were all delicious (and not heavy), while the good music we listened to was just the right volume (never intrusive or annoying, but soft; which is not a given). I recommend everyone try this seaside resort to experience once again that wonderful, generous, cheerful, cheerful, and lighthearted Romagna that Gigi and Andrea captured in their film in the 1980s. Clean beach. Well-maintained umbrellas and loungers. Excellent walkway, even for those with mobility issues. Excellent restaurant. A few games for small children. Small field and various games for teenagers and adults. Excellent background music selection (jazz, blues, and more during quieter moments). Free shower, but very cold. Hot showers are paid for with tokens. The bathrooms are terrible and should be cleaned more often (4 stars only for the bathrooms; the rest is fine).

The best welcome you could wish for on vacation, everyone was so kind, starting with the youngest, who politely asks you about your stay while escorting you to your umbrella. Everyone was always smiling. The bathrooms were spotless, and the breakfast was mouth-watering, with cream-filled croissants, fruit, Nutella, pizza, and toast. I felt pampered. Thank you, you do your job very well.

They give you a free pizza with your aperitif! Absurd! I'll always come back when I'm in Cesenatico! Best beach in Cesenatico!
