Our absolute favorite place in Versilia. We've been coming here since 2019. Rolando and his family are very welcoming hosts. The food is always delicious, and there's always a little surprise. The well-kept terrace offers a stunning view of the sea. The beach is very well-maintained compared to the surrounding area. The excellent service is rounded out by comfortable loungers, showers, changing rooms, and clean restrooms. We will be back. Thank you!

We stopped at the end of the season at a very late hour and they did everything to accommodate us, very good food, one of the best fried fish I have ever eaten.

Top location with delicious food. We hadn't made a reservation and it was actually full. Then they placed a table for us on the beach. Eating on the beach with the sunset as a backdrop. MAGICAL.

Everything was delicious... raw, unprocessed fish (unseasoned and with too many red fruits that I may or may not like), decidedly salty pasta, and so were the potatoes... quality/price ratio not great... the owner's daughter is really good and kind, but the cooking is something else... the basil in the spaghetti with clams is still a mystery... because if they'd added saffron, it would have made sense... NOT recommended. The mixed fried fish isn't bad, but it's still a gourmet dish only in appearance, not in content.

Excellent restaurant! The cuisine is truly excellent, with carefully prepared and flavorful dishes. The staff is friendly and professional: the welcome truly makes you feel at home. An experience I highly recommend.

30/12/2025: Wonderful welcome and wonderful meal. We hadn't booked, and the chef himself had a new table set. Then the dishes kept coming, mostly truffle-based—it was simply divine. Bravo, bravo!!
28/12/2025: Simply the best. Excellent ingredients and cuisine that never fails. If you're visiting during white truffle season, the tagliolini and tartare are unmissable. For me, Carrara has become synonymous with "La Tavernetta": it's worth the trip alone!

20/08/2025: I've been going there for a long time over the years, and it's always a pleasure to see Mr. Luciano welcoming you with warmth and friendliness. The food is always excellent, the service is quick but not rushed, and the atmosphere is relaxing, almost like being at home. The location on the seafront is also excellent. It's a place I'm fond of and would recommend to anyone in the area—it's worth it!
