Badalamenti Cucina e Bottega In Palermo

One of the best gastronomic experiences of this trip. Haute cuisine blended with traditional cuisine in an elegant and pleasant atmosphere. The service was excellent. The restaurant manager guided us and advised us throughout the meal. We tried fresh oysters, a starter with raw shrimp on a bed of bread with ricotta, the best fish pasta dish we've ever had, and a tuna tartar with a superb sauce. The best part was when we asked him if he had hot chocolate for dessert, and he offered us a spectacular bar with 70% Criollo cacao, accompanied by a sweet wine that made the moment a wonderful memory.

I loved this restaurant! Had a blast with their black pork ragú pasta, their wines recommendations, and please if you go, you have to try their blue berries cheese cake. You can thank me afterward.

The best restaurant in mondello, also considering Palermo, the bottega is amazing too. Very friendly, definitely Worth the visit. We take dinner & came back to lunch because we loved the food and environment!!

Badalamenti was recommended by our tour guide, and it did not disappoint! Fantastic food, and even better experience. Even when they were extremely busy, they took their time to thoughtfully answer questions, and make recommendations. Marco, a sommelier by trade, was extremely helpful, explaining the specials of the day in great detail, and recommending amazing wine pairings that complimented the meal. We were so impressed we had him pick out almost 20 bottles to ship to our home in the US. Having dined at Badalamenti twice now, I can confidently say that it’s my favorite restaurant in Mondello.

I came all the way from America, Arizona …we were walking through the beautiful neighborhood and came across this cute place. Walked in and were immediately welcomed. They quickly gave us water and took care of us completely. They were so kind and helpful. The food was delicious and service amazing. They treated us Americans like family! We will definitely make our way back here.

Ristorante di nicchia in quel di Partanna Mondello, borgata adiacente alla nota spiaggia. Location piccola, spartana, che ricorda tanto le osterie di una volta. La ricercatezza, la selezione delle materie prime utilizzate e vendute, come i vini, sono le note distintive del locale in essere. Menù essenziale, con piatti della tradizione siciliana elaborati e presentati in modo gradevole. Servizio in sala gentile disponibile. Zero empatia da parte di uno dei proprietari, il quale mi ha trattata con sufficienza, quando ho scelto il vino con richiesta di averlo più refrigerato, la sua battuta è stata per nulla signorile. Buona la loro carta vini, a detta dello stesso patron poco gentile :"con una selezione di oltre 500 etichette" , ma ahimè, il mio vino non era presente, sostituito da un satin rosato della stessa cantina, non palesato il suo prezzo, come da etica cristallina a tutela del cliente. Incongruente rapporto qualità prezzo, edulcorato dalla scontistica The Fork prontamente applicata. In realtà, pur essendo buoni i piatti serviti, hanno un costo che rasenta, quello dei locali gourmet della città. Ergo, per me, dopo diverse chances , rimane un ni.
