Great food, perfect service, relaxing atmosphere. What more could you want?

My family and I had a dinner meal here on our first night in Sicily on vacation last month. The food was delicious and we had also very good wines! Not only that but Federica who is the sommelier there helped us to arrange a wine tour on very short notice. Federica was so helpful and responsive! The wine tour was to Tonino Winery and it was also such a wonderful experience for my family and me that we ended up leaving with 16 bottles of wine! Thank you so much Federica for being amazing host for us. Ciao and hope to see you soon.

Excellent restaurant. The Nebrodi pork dish is noteworthy. A bit pricey.

It's always difficult to be original; usually people say "delicious," "good," etc.! So I'll just try to tell you that this restaurant is simply "incredible 😻 🤩🥳"! Thank you to the whole team for welcoming us! P.S.: Italy and France are still the best nations for gastronomy.

Refined Sicilian cuisine and delicious wines

A restaurant with a lovely, subtle decor, but a rather unfriendly welcome. We were with our two children, aged 9 and 5 (who were well-behaved), but we clearly weren't welcome. No smiles from the two owners when we entered the restaurant. We felt like we were intruding😕. Even at the table. On the other hand, the server was very friendly and cheerful👍. The truffle pasta was way too salty. A shame.

Food was overpriced and very hit or miss. They relied on truffle to carry most of the dishes, but we left overall disappointed. They had us order all of our food at once (we would have left after the appetizers if they had not made us do so). We began with appetizers. The poached egg was undercooked (half the whites were transparent and watery) with truffle sprinkled on top-we asked for bread to dip. The croquettes were tasty. The mushroom flan was bland despite having lots of sauce. Before all of the appetizers were served, my friend’s main course of pork filets was dropped off-it was cold and very dry. It was about 30 minutes after we finished eating apps when the rest of the mains came. I got the eggplant ravioli which was delightful. A friend got the cacio e Pepe with shrimp tartare-they informed her that they were out of the shrimp, which she was okay with, but we were surprised to see the full price 30 euro charge on the bill (it was very salty). A friend got the steak which was very tender and perfectly seasoned with yummy potatoes. Last friend got the special which was mushroom tagliatelle. It tasted like it had canned white sauce-way under seasoned. Service was a bit chaotic between the 3 different people who were at our table, but everyone was kind enough-they didn’t ever ask how our food was. One of the few places we’ve been to in Italy without a house wine, but they recommended a tasty one. Bill was 210 euro, which is quite a lot more than other dinner places where we enjoyed the food far more.

Awesome place we popped in on a Wednesday early for their lunch. No reservation and were seated. Restaurant is beautiful as you’re surrounded by their extensive wine offerings and the menu is simple but delicious. We shared their tartare, cacio e pepe, and pork tenderloin. The Cacio e Pepe and tenderloin were exceptional. The wine options are extensive and we chatted with the owner and selected a delicious white for lunch and two excellent bottles to take with us. The owner is a gent and we had some great conversation with him and he was kind enough to give us a bottle of local honey which is delicious. Next time we are in Mondello we will be back as this is comfortably the best restaurant in the area.
