Excellent food, I would give a full 10, certainly the tuna tartare starters, fried prawns, cod suchimi...truly exceptional, we were all satisfied...as were the first courses, both the tortelloni with wild boar ragù, the tagliatelle with prawns and the lobster pasta...truly refined More than sufficient portions and fantastic aromas...as for the dessert we only tasted the cannoli, which was also good but not exceptional. We will definitely return next time.

So what can I say, I was in Mondello for work!! Having very little time for my lunch break I was undecided between a sandwich or a simple plate of pasta!!! I stopped by Bottega Badalamenti and I chose a first course with fresh tagliatelle and a sauce with excellent and plentiful wild boar meat. I will definitely return with my family.

Niche restaurant in Partanna Mondello, a village adjacent to the famous beach. Small, spartan location, very reminiscent of the taverns of the past. The refinement, the selection of the raw materials used and sold, such as the wines, are the distinctive notes of the existing restaurant. Essential menu, with traditional Sicilian dishes elaborated and presented in a pleasant way. Friendly room service available. Zero empathy from one of the owners, who treated me with disdain, when I chose the wine with a request to have it refrigerated more, his joke was not at all gentlemanly. Their wine list is good, according to the unkind patron himself: "with a selection of over 500 labels", but alas, my wine was not present, replaced by a satin rosé from the same cellar, its price not revealed, as from crystal clear ethics to customer protection. Incongruent value for money, sweetened by The Fork discounts promptly applied. In reality, although the dishes served are good, they cost close to that of the city's gourmet restaurants. Ergo, for me, after several chances, it remains a no.

We were on holiday in Mondello and the owner of the apartment we were staying in recommended this place to us. Small but pleasant, clean environment. Excellent service, the staff was always attentive to our every request and/or need. Having 2 little girls we asked for 2 cutlets which arrived immediately and were excellent. Quality cold cuts platter, exceptional first courses! Right quality-price ratio.

Nice place indeed and the new years menu more that agreeable for the night. We got a little pulled over the table on the wine, but I could have asked the price as well, but wanted to go with the flow. 90€ for a local wine was probably silly though, as it wasn’t that good!

I have mixed feelings. We were 2 and had 2 appetizers, 1 primo (shared), 1 secondo (shared), 1 dessert (shared), 1 half bottle of franciacorta (shared). The franciacorta was good and price fair One of the antipasto was amazingly good. The other antipasto and primo were good. The second was ok-ish...the quality of the red tuna was not emphasized by the pistacchio crust. While most of the meal was good...the price was clearly exagerated...we paid 150 euros in total. We had other meals in Mondello (with same fish provider, with same quality and it was much less expensive). We also had non cooked bread (see picture) and expired olive oil (see photo - I know that olive oil can be used past expiration dates in general...but for the sake of professionalism in the restaurant business, they could keep it in the kitchen and not serve it on the table). We discussed this experience with our hotel the same evening who confirmed us that they generally do not recommand their clients to go to Badalamenti because it is way too pretentious and over-rated...it is exactly how it felt.

Sismo stati qui alcune sere fa. Il locale è accogliente. Personale cordiale. Un po’ caro con prezzi di gran lunga sopra la media. Con questi costi però mi sarei aspettato molto di più. La tagliata di carne era accompagnata da un contorno di patate al forno anonime, ma la cosa più assurda è che abbiamo chiesto a fine cena un amaro e ce ne sono stati proposti solo 2, peraltro non eccezionali. Da sottolineare che nel locale ci sono in esposizione ed in vendita una svariata quantità di vini e liquori . Un buon ristorante si vede anche dalla cantina che offre .

Este maravilloso lugar fue recomendado por nuestro hotel y estoy tan feliz de haber tomado su sugerencia! Nuestra cena fue una de las mejores comidas que hemos tenido en nuestras tres semanas en Sicilia! El servicio fue excepcional y muy atento! La selección de vinos era interminable y disfrutamos mucho cada minuto! Fue una noche muy divertida y sin duda volveremos de nuevo el próximo viaje!
