Bacco Verde In Parma

I was lucky enough to find this place because I’d just arrived in Parma late on a Sunday evening, and it was only a couple of blocks from my AirBnb. The food, wine, atmosphere, and service were perfect, and the staff were patient and kind with my utter lack of Italian. It was an ideal introduction to Parma and Italy as a whole. This was exactly what I’d hoped to find when traveling here.

Excellent, we meet again, after improvisation theatre, as a conclusion to the evening. A certainty!

A place where you can feel at ease, as we used to: familiar, cozy and with great food. To repeat.

Se volete tuffarvi in una cucina di buona qualità, a ottimo prezzo, degno di un'osteria, questo è il posto che dovete frequentare anche più volte. Giovani simpatici e bravi, che meritano il nostro sostegno, cena ottima, con spiegazioni del piatto con sorriso ed accoglienza. Il posto è molto caratteristico tra taverna e cantina, ma proprio quello che intendo io per un'osteria alla buona, ma di qualità (orami un'autentica rarità). Allego menù e foto dove potrete vedere, ...ma non assaggiare, tutto quello che ci è piaciuto, con una menzione "d'onore" per la spalla cotta in versione molto originale. E se leggete che è un'espressione di ARCI non preoccupatevi: non siamo Comunisti, ma ci siamo trovati molto bene e bella mente accolti...e nessuno ci ha "mangiati"

The food is excellent: I tried the potato tortellini with porcini mushrooms, a delicious dish. The service is fast and the staff, kind and welcoming, helps to make the experience even more pleasant. The value for money is really super! I won't say too much about the wine, as I'm a teetotaler, but the rest is definitely worth trying!

Il cibo è ottimo: ho provato i tortellini di patate ai porcini, un piatto delizioso. Il servizio è veloce e il personale, sempre gentile e accogliente, contribuisce a rendere l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è davvero eccellente, quindi ne vale sicuramente la pena! Sul vino non mi sbilancio, essendo astemia, ma il resto è sicuramente da provare!
