A bit hidden, but definitely the best we ate at in Parma! Highly recommended. The ambiance and food are meticulously crafted, with an ethos that's been around for generations, which is immediately evident in the menu. It's definitely worth a visit if you want excellent local food without spending a fortune. I recommend booking because the place isn't very big.

Impeccable service and attention to detail. The staff was friendly and very helpful, especially with suggestions for us tourists. We really appreciated the generous offer of bruschetta and a zucchini frittata, both exceptional. The platter was top-notch for sampling Parma specialties (cured meats and cheeses).

Nice, unique place… excellent herb tortelli and roast pork, excellent platter too… a good bottle of Sangiovese and off we go… perfect evening. Really kind and helpful staff.

10/11/2025: The charcuterie board is amazing, and the hearty fritters and horsemeat tartare are delicious. The wine cellar is well-stocked, and the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. If you're in Parma city center, it's a must!
09/11/2025: The aperitif was already very enjoyable, and they saved us a spot for dinner, which was very light but high-quality. The service was incredible; the waiter was very approachable, knowledgeable, and friendly. We left feeling happier. Definitely worth a try if you love wine and local produce!

06/10/2025: We hiked up on a drizzly day. I gave the rooms a 3 because there are only a few rooms. Otherwise, the refuge is in an excellent location and very well run by friendly, young people. We were a group from the CAI ULE of Genoa Center, friendly people.
