There is not much gluten free food, only the pasta as there can be contamination in the pizza. They serve little food for a very high price €30-40 per person

During my recent visit to Venice, I dined at Osteria Barababao and had a wonderful experience. The kind and attentive waiter recommended delicious vegan dishes, showcasing his deep knowledge of the menu. His enthusiasm and excellent service made the meal even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Osteria Barababao for its great atmosphere, exquisite food.

We came to this place looking for a restaurant that offered gluten-free options including pasta dishes, which is a feat, especially without knowing the city well. Both the first course and the pizza (we returned two nights in a row) are good, not to mention the human prices (something more unique than rare in the area). Excellent service, very helpful waiters and overall very good. If we ever return to Venice, we will definitely return!

Found on the recommendation of an app, it met our expectations. Typical Venetian tavern, welcoming and reserved, with truly courteous staff. Average quality/price of food. Satisfied.

Lovely late lunch with 2 daughters and sister was an absolute treat on our last afternoon in Venizia. The waiter recommended bruschetta it was delightful and tasty. The seafood risotto was delicious and would highly recommend As the pizza too The dessert were memorable 😋 The service was good friendly snd charming. Thankyou for making our last late lunch a memorable one.

28/04/2024: Excellent food, more than fair prices
21/04/2024: It's a treat for gluttons who appreciate simple food for all budgets. There is nothing that shouldn't be tasted at least once. Come on, Russian salad contains too few potatoes and too much mayonnaise, but you can work with it. At the counter the girls always smile and serve the customer with dedication and speed. Well done.
