Friendly and honest! Very good cicchetti🍀

I got to know this Bacaro through a friend... when I arrived it was packed with people... I had the opportunity to have dinner and lunch in this place... I had a great time and got to know the staff, all very friendly... In particular, the owner, a humble and friendly person.

Engaging atmosphere and service, delicious cicchetti, highly recommended place if you have the patience to wait your turn: it's worth it

i had the gnocchi which was fantastic! there was also complimentary bread and olive oil which i enjoyed. on the other hand, the bottom half of the tiramisu felt very wet. i would only recommend the tiramisu if you are planning on eating only the top half. the service was great though it took some time to receive a menu but once we did the service was very good. the atmosphere was fantastic until they started blasting xmas music. i heard “all i want for xmas is you” and “feliz navidad” 3 times each, and “last xmas” 4 times. this was a bit annoying as i am not a fan of xmas music, nor am i a fan of just the same 3 songs playing on repeat for most of the time i was there (though a few abba songs were played in the middle which was nice). the xmas music problem could probably be solved by just coming at a different time of year though. the female toilets did not seem to have a lock though the restaurant had few enough people that no one came into the bathroom while i was using it. the waiter spoke good enough english for everything to be understood correctly. the restaurant part upstairs was relatively empty but that means there were not too many tourists which is nice. overall i recommend the restaurant, just not at this time of year.

The Italian food is very, very good. The prices are typical of Venice (about half an kidney), but at least you eat well, and downstairs they have tapas and other things.

I visited after watching Alberto's recommended video. You can sit for free, and spritz and wine are 3.50 euros, and cicchetti are about 2.50 euros. The cicchetti are slightly large and delicious. The service is also very friendly. There were many locals, not tourists, and it is located on a corner of an alley. I was very satisfied.

The place is very well organized despite the crowds. The food is cheap and the ingredients are fresh.
