Babilonia In Taormina

Beautiful setting and super romantic. Food was delicious and staff were lovely. Portions are small so marked down for that in terms of value for money. Marked down on service as was charged an additional €30 for a bottle of wine we did not order. Did not notice until we got back to the hotel as we were in a rush to pay because it started to rain and we were outside! With that being said I would go again, without the kids and make sure I check the bill properly next time! The outdoor terrace is truly stunning.

This restaurant may as well be one of the best places I’ve ever had dinner. We found it online and decided to check it out spontaneously, and just wow. The garden is beautiful, with several citrus trees. Super romantic atmosphere. All the staff has specific roles, so the sommelier only does take wine orders, the waitresses only bring food and take away empty plates or refill empty glasses and there are separate people for taking food orders or bringing out the bill. Although it might feel a bit slow (reading some of the other comments), there definitely is a system in place that works well. And then the food… eating a variety of vegetarian food has been difficult in Sicily. Not at this restaurant; they have an amazing selection of high quality vegetarian food. Probably the best vegetarian food we’ve ever had. We started with a delicious burrata and tomatoes, then lemon linguini, fried artichoke and shared two desserts. We did not have any wine, just two bottles of water and I was surprised with how low the bill was for the amazing quality of food. Feels like dining in a Michelin setting, but for a super reasonable price. Thank you to the staff for this amazing experience!

The place is enchanting at first glance. The garden is beautifully kept, and the exposed stone gives the setting a sense of age. In short: beautiful! Except for the interior, which is a bit bare. The quality of the food is truly high. The raw fish is delicious, and the tagliolini with purple shrimp and Bronte pistachios are truly special. I highly recommend it! The value for money, for Taormina, is extremely good. The focaccia served with olive oil—a local custom, but usually only with bread—is also very good. The service is attentive. Nothing special, but definitely worthy of the place.

want to say a BIG thank you to Giardini di Babilonia restaurant and the entire team who work there! Firstly, the food was outstanding—everyone had only the most beautiful things to say about it. We booked a dinner for 40 people, and since it was a pre-wedding dinner, we simply expected to have a nice meal at the restaurant two days before the wedding. But when I arrived, I was shocked—in the best way possible! They had prepared such a stunning table for us right in the middle of the garden, surrounded by flowers and beautiful lighting. It was so romantic that I felt like it was already my wedding day! The team patiently waited for all the guests to arrive before starting to serve the food. The dishes were absolutely delicious, and the waiters were so kind and attentive. It was truly a perfect dinner. Thank you all for giving us such an amazing experience! This by far the best restaurant in Taormina!!! The food excellent being authentic Sicilian but modern. The location is stunning 😍 having dinner in the garden under those gorgeous trees really alfresco atmosphere. The service was prompt and the sommelier knew his wines. Its a must try if you visit but make sure you book as it gets quiet busy.

My friend Francesco took me there. The service was impeccable, attentive, precise, and never intrusive. We could have finished the dinner with the appetizers alone, which were delicious and plentiful (all fish). But then they brought us spaghetti with sea urchin, and I still can't begin to describe how good it was. All served in a fabulous location. My compliments, truly! 👏👏👏👏👏
