Babilonia In Taormina

A gem in Taormina. The restaurant is set in a charming courtyard, creating a special and relaxed atmosphere a few steps away from the ancient theatre. We enjoyed fish dishes, each one fresh, flavorful, and beautifully paired with excellent wines at a very affordable price. The unusual and inspiring concept of combining fine dining with an Italian language school makes this place special and inspiring. Strongly recommended.

A truly unique location, a period farmhouse with centuries-old trees frame this restaurant, which alone is worth a visit. The dishes are expertly prepared and served by those who know what they're cooking and how they prepare it. Every dish met our expectations, from the raw to the cooked fish. Of the many restaurants we visited during this year's stay, I Giardini di Babilonia deserves to top the list. Kudos to the management and all the staff.

We stayed in Taormina for 2 days we came here for dinner it was amazing,the food was amazing,the service was excellent and the place was beautiful I highly recommend the lemon linguini

Enchanting place. Extremely slow service. Excellent for quiet dinners. Definitely NOT recommended if you're in a hurry or have children. We waited 1 hour and 20 minutes between the appetizer and the main course (and the restaurant was packed). All this was partially enhanced by the enchanting location.

Absolutely wonderful food and a beautiful setting! So fresh and clean, with a great selection of entrees. Made our visit to Taormina memorable!

We celebrated my son's birthday. The hospitality was superb, always available. The food and wine were appropriate for the setting and price. Recommended. The location also deserves praise.

My wife and I stumbled upon I Giardini di Babilonia while walking through Taormina and decided to book a table for that night. Our time at this restaurant is what I’d imagine anyone would describe as an ideal dinner experience, perfect in every way. Firstly, the place is beautiful. The outside tables with string lighting in the garden really set the ambiance. The service and food were exceptional. Every bite was delicious as we were guided by the owner on what to order based on our preferences. He did not disappoint. The service really set this place apart from the dozen other restaurants we had meals at on our trip. The staff made us feel special like we were the only ones there. The owner took time to check in on us a couple times to make sure we were happy. We ended up asking him about his story where his passion for his family, food and the school he runs were clear main drivers in his life. I cannot make a stronger recommendation to try this place. My wife and I will forever remember this meal as one of the best we’ve ever had.

What a gem hidden away behind Taormina's bustling main street! The setting is beautiful, the service very friendly, and the food is absolutely fantastic. The fish is of the freshest quality. I had crusted sea bass. I've never had such fresh and delicious fish. This is a must-visit hotspot in Taormina!

Si quieres una auténtica experiencia gastronómica siciliana con una familia local en un hermoso jardín en el patio en medio de Taromina, este es el lugar! Segunda visita con dos años de diferencia y es tan bueno como recuerdo - preciosa ubicación bajo los naranjos en el corazón de Taormina a medio camino hacia arriba o hacia abajo de una hermosa escalera con el olor a jazmín en el aire. Alimentos y servicios para morir por atender una variedad de necesidades dietéticas. Genial ver su comida siendo preparada en la cocina al aire libre.
