Babila's Bistrot & Bar In Milano

Stay was quit peaceful. The common toilets and bathrooms was not hygienic. But the room and toilets in itself was good. I recommend for solo travellers

It's located less than a 10-minute walk from the elegant Via Montenapoleone and a stone's throw from the Duomo. The red brick building was commissioned by Cardinal A.C. Ferrari to house the nuns of the Congregation of the Daughters of the Heart of Mary, who care for poor children and the terminally ill. Here, every week, you can listen to music ranging from funk to rock, from jazz to blues, and much more. I was invited to attend a musical performance by the daughter of a dear friend, who demonstrated not only a classical technique—expressed in a clear, brilliant sound, never ostentatious or shaky—but also a pleasing timbre, adequate volume, and, above all, a great interpretive ability, meaning she was able to perfectly convey the meaning of the words she was singing. In my opinion, having a beautiful voice isn't enough. True talent lies in the ability to transform words into music and communicate something profound, and this young singer succeeded brilliantly! As for the location (which I wasn't familiar with), I realized that Babila exudes the city's truly international atmosphere, thanks to the multi-ethnic nature of its people. It's a place where you can fully experience cultural, entertainment, and social events, bringing together international guests and Milanese locals who come here to enjoy a good beer and meet new people, all within walking distance of their homes, without having to travel.
