I was there two years ago for a trip to the Parmesan cheese factory. It was incredibly interesting to see how this cheese is made, and then seeing all the hundreds of wheels was a unique experience!
At the end of the trip, tasting the 12-, 24-, and 36-month-aged Parmesan cheeses, plus the Parmesan cream, was truly rewarding. Now I know the true value of Parmesan!

We had a fantastic experience at Hosteria Caseificio Bertinelli!
Everything was perfectly organized – from the warm welcome to the last gelato. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the tour was conducted in Italian and English, and there was always an opportunity to ask questions. The entire team was exceptionally attentive, professional, and demonstrated a wealth of expertise.
We booked the "+ Light Lunch Milk Experience" tour – and it was definitely worth it! The food was a real highlight: fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors, and beautifully presented. Tasting the different ages of Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto di Parma DOP, Crema di Parmigiano, and Ricotta con miele, accompanied by a glass of wine, was a particular delight. And be sure to save room for the artisanal gelato!
In short: A place you absolutely must visit – authentic, culinarily outstanding, and run with great attention to detail. Highly recommended!

The staff was extremely kind and knowledgeable, and always available to answer questions.

We booked the tour + tasting + light lunch, and it was amazing. Lorenzo (our guide) is a force of nature and extremely knowledgeable. In the tasting, the 24-month-old won (for us). Everything was excellent—well done and worthy of praise!
