I was very surprised. We were at the restaurant in the afternoon. It wasn't busy, and the waiter was a bit distracted. We wanted two pizzas, and he mentioned something about crunchy pizza. We were surprised: OK, he meant sesame seeds on the pizza. Attached is the bill: everyone can make up their own mind about the amount of the caperto and the sesame surcharge. It's also interesting that the bill doesn't include the name of the service provider or an address. The pizza was okay, but as always, it's a matter of taste. We ate elsewhere for the rest of our vacation... PS: I knew the restaurant's reaction. What else could they say? But of course, every vacationer speaks and writes the local language. It's my own fault, what an idiot I am. But it's not an issue for me: there are pizzerias all along the street, most of them cheaper and at least no worse. As long as the place is full, it'll be fine. Chapeau, and I don't mean that in a bad way.

The steak and fries were delicious. The Atmosphera pizza looks great and is definitely recommended for fans of arugula and olives. The pizza bread is super crispy and tastes excellent. The Hugo was absolutely delicious!

We've been eating here several times on vacation for years. The service is very good, the food is excellent, and the ambiance is as good. We'll be happy to return in the coming years. The only thing is that the mosquitoes are a bit annoying when eating.

Osteria al Garanghelo

26/02/2026: A quieter spot, away from the crowds of central Venice. A group of friends and I had dinner there on the evening of February 5th. We shared pizza and pasta. The price, quantity, quality, and service were all good. Because of this, we returned the next day with a larger group and tried other dishes and the set menu. It was well worth it. Even the bottles of house wine were nice... ordinary, but pleasant. They also had Italian music playing in the background at a moderate volume, which made you want to sing along by the end. The price was very reasonable. Although I think it's best suited for groups of about four, we were eight the second time and there was no problem.
20/02/2026: Great restaurant located in a lovely neighborhood, away from the crowds and tourist traps. We've been going every day of our vacation. The food is delicious and high quality. The waiter is very polite and courteous.
