21/02/2025: What to say about this place... unthinkable. Magnificent location, the Taverna Agape is a pearl inserted in the city context of Rome, in a beautiful little square a stone's throw from Piazza Navona. Do you go there for the beauty of the place? It is certainly very pleasant, but the difference is made by a very attentive and helpful staff, never oppressive or insistent, but above all by a food and a cellar of the highest level. The research of the owner, Pietro, who is practically a guru on wines, was appreciated, and the advice on the dishes was also important. Quality raw materials and a more than satisfactory value for money. I will definitely return, for the starters, for the first courses, for the second courses and for everything, but if there is one thing I liked it is that I finally found a sincere, Roman situation, not the usual tourist-eating decoy of our historic center.
