This is a seafood only restaurant. However, it is outstanding and really worth a visit. The staff were very helpful with our selection of menu. We started with sashimi for my guest and tuna tartare for me, followed by a salted sea bass cooked to perfection. The sommelier heĺped us to choose a wine off the extensive Italian wine list to match the chosen dishes. While not our selection on the night, we saw an amazing fish tasting starter and lobster main beautifully presented by attentive but not overbearing staff. This restaurant is a foodie's heaven!

If price is not an issue, then it's a great dining experience. Seafood is fresh and we had amazing baked fish and raw seafood platter. Wine selection is also great and the service lived up to expectations. It does need to fix the toilet, maybe it just broke during our time there.

A pleasant surprise on our trip to Rome. The Assunta Madre restaurant is a perfect combination of elegance and hospitality: the environment is luxurious but warm, never cold or impersonal. The staff is trained, friendly and particularly affectionate with the little ones, which makes the experience even more pleasant for families. The fish is of excellent quality, cooked with care and served with attention. The price is absolutely adequate compared to the quality offered. Highly recommended for those looking for a refined dinner but with the warmth of true hospitality.
