Small restaurant serving typical African cuisine, not far from the center of Rome. I've been there a couple of times, and both times I was fully satisfied. The restaurant, especially at lunch, is frequented mainly by people from North Africa. There is a very pleasant convivial atmosphere. The owner is kind and friendly, very willing to explain the customs of his country and give advice on food. He made us feel at home. The furnishings feature photos and typical objects which are very pleasant to browse through. Very good food, often very spicy (you can ask for advice on less spicy ones); you eat exclusively with your hands, as per tradition, so prepare your handkerchiefs to clean yourself up!

Delicious! We ordered the vegetarian combo and a chicken dish, and everything was very flavorful and well-made. We would absolutely come back!

I recently dined at Asmera, an Ethiopian cultural food restaurant, and tried the gored gored. It was fantastic—tender, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The warm, traditional ambiance and friendly service made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommended!

È bastato varcare la soglia per ritrovare i profumi ed il clima dell’Eritrea…il mal d’Africa esiste. Un ottimo zighinì afferrato e gustato con pezzi di enjera con le mani, accompagnato dalla vista dei colori di una cucina semplice e tradizionale, dai sapori forti e speziati. Il pasto si è concluso con un ottimo the alla cannella gentilmente offerto. Riportiamo a casa la nostalgia dell’Eritrea…e un kilo di Berberè acquistato. Il proprietario mi ha omaggiato di una sciarpa tradizionale. Un viaggio da intraprendere .

Sei trasferito in Eritrea con odori e sapori. Cibo ottimo ed abbondante. Personale gentilissimo. Da provare antipasto misto e poi zighini di manzo... Ottimo anche il caffé allo zenzero servito con caffetteria originale. Prezzo onestissimo

19/08/2024: Very good ice cream! Finally tastes that are not too milky, we will definitely be back! Another gem, they have a fountain inside the place to drink a glass of water after the ice cream.

19/08/2024: Typical Roman pizza crunchy, very good for the type of dough. Starter of very good cured meats, cheeses and mixed fried foods. Cozy, air-conditioned place and very kind staff! Well done!
11/08/2024: Even if the outside isn't much to look at, inside there is a welcoming atmosphere, good food (excellent pizza), very efficient service, excellent quality/price ratio. Super recommended, we will definitely be back!!!
