Nice place for a quiet evening.
Service normal, nothing exceptional.
Well presented dishes but essentially nothing special. Yes it can
find better. Maybe it was better to get pizza.
The position of the table is perplexing, in front of the entrance door with cold air coming in behind every time someone enters and exits.

I recently had dinner at Asino Cotto in Casalgrande and the experience was truly pleasant. The venue offers a welcoming and informal atmosphere, ideal for both quiet evenings and meetings with friends.
The menu is large and well structured, with a selection of meat and fish dishes. This time I decided to try the first courses they produce and I was extremely satisfied. The fresh pasta pappardelle with donkey ragù was delicious, with a perfectly al dente pasta and a tasty, well-balanced ragù. The pumpkin tortelli with Reggiano sofrito also deserve a special mention: the sweetness of the pumpkin combined harmoniously with the strong flavor of the sofrito, creating a rich and satisfying dish. 
The service was quick and the staff were friendly, always ready to advise and make the evening pleasant. The wine list is well stocked, with interesting proposals that best accompany the dishes.
To conclude, I tasted the decomposed millefeuille with berries, a light and tasty dessert that closed the dinner in style. 
Ultimately, Asino Cotto confirms itself as a quality restaurant, with an excellent quality-price ratio. I will definitely come back to try other specialties from their rich menu. Advised!

I had dinner, everything was good from the starter, to the first courses, the second courses and I also tasted the good pizza, in my opinion too thin but here it's just personal taste, what I would see again is the donkey stew with polenta, too much polenta in my opinion and it covers the flavour, rather than leaving it like this as a soup I would make it roasted or fried, try it and in my opinion it is a more successful dish.
I've already eaten donkey stew and the flavor of donkey meat was much more noticeable, so either the polenta covered everything or it was beef.
My personal opinion and advice, review the stew dish

"Solitary" dinner on Friday evening. I want to love myself 🤣
I had been hearing about this restaurant for a long time, always in a positive way.
What can I say, in addition to the positive things that have been written?
The place is beautiful and well-kept, the service is nothing short of excellent, the staff are friendly and competent.
The menu is a range of meat, fish and pizza.
I took a fish "off the menu"; triptych which included tuna steak, salmon and swordfish carpaccio. A tasty dish, of good quality and in adequate quantity.
Mussels peppered which is on the menu, really good.
Whoever served me was able to recommend a sparkling white wine from Romagna, which I liked. I felt like I was in Rimini 🤣
"Proper" sorbet, coffee and a liqueur offered.
Obviously I live a few kilometers from the club 🤣
The price? Suitable for the quality/quantity ratio.
I also spent a little conversation at the checkout, and even in this situation the courtesy was spontaneous.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!
But be careful Donkey Cotto! Next time I'll make myself a meat menu, donkey first and foremost 😉

Quick dinner for a pizza. The "normal" dough is very thin: good. Menu written on paper placemats that act as a tablecloth.
