The restaurant itself is good, the service excellent, but perhaps the parking is too "squeezed" between the building and the garden of the neighboring condominium.

Aperitif buffet, there's something for everyone...reasonable price...if you arrive a little early you'll find a seat without any problems...otherwise there's a line...

I've been going to this restaurant for over twenty years, ever since it was still called Le Coccole and was in a different location. I've celebrated birthdays, bachelor parties, events, aperitifs here... basically, it's always been a familiar place for me. Even after moving to Milan nine years ago, every time I return to Parma I love to eat here.
My last review was eight years ago: I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I found the prices a bit high. Unfortunately, not much has changed since then—in fact, the prices have risen even further—but what struck me most this time was the welcome.
Even though they know me well, the atmosphere was cold, distant, and unfriendly. In the past, the owners would always come to the table for a chat, a gesture that made all the difference and made the place special. Yesterday, however, there was none of that. A twelve-minute wait to order, a bread basket arrived with the entrees (where once upon a time, freshly baked focaccia was served), and a glass of wine that to call "poor" would be an understatement.
The restaurant wasn't particularly busy; many tables had already been served, so the feeling of neglect was even more evident. It's a shame, because the food remains good, but the overall experience didn't live up to my memories or expectations.
Sincerely, next time we'll change locations. I know this review probably won't matter to those directly involved, but loyalty matters to me: when I grow fond of a place, I always return, even from afar. But customers need to be looked after, always. Not just when they drop by every day or bring "small change," but also when they return after years because that place meant something to them.
It's a real shame to see how, over time, certain places get worse instead of better.

I had the pizzas, and found both the dough and the toppings heavy; the cooking was better. The service and atmosphere were excellent.
