It was love at first sight with this restaurant! Located in a historic center now saturated with identical tourist tables, at Da Pupi we found an elegant dining room, refined cuisine, and friendly, welcoming service. Not only did we have a divine lunch here (I recommend the sea bass au gratin with pistachios), but we also found a warm welcome for our dog, who was welcomed with care and affection. We'll be back when we feel like relaxing!

We booked through The Fork, very easily.
We were greeted with kindness and courtesy. The menu features dishes based on Sicilian cuisine but also offers alternatives.
We chose fish dishes: all well-cooked, tasty, and flavorful.
Attentive service. The bill was reasonable.

Sicilian cuisine in the heart of Rome. Prices aren't exactly cheap, but the good food and friendly staff make up for it.

A true corner of Sicily in the heart of Rome. At Dai Pupi, you can savor the most authentic Sicilian cuisine, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, crafted with respect and passion.
A special mention goes to the fried fish: fresh, crispy, and not at all greasy, truly impeccable. The grouper meatballs are also extraordinary, a true journey through the flavors of the sea, and the unforgettable busiate pasta, a first course that will make you fall in love at first bite.
Making the experience even more enjoyable is the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff, always present but never intrusive, making you feel at home from the very first moment.
All this is framed by an elegant yet familiar atmosphere, with a pleasant silence that allows you to fully enjoy the food and the company. A restaurant worth trying and returning to.

As soon as you enter, you immediately feel at ease in this beautifully furnished Sicilian-style building. The dining room is spacious, bright, and quiet. It's a shame about the plastic tables and chairs, which, while beautiful, clash with the luxurious atmosphere. The food is truly excellent, both in flavor and presentation. We tried the appetizer, first course, and dessert and were satisfied with everything, even the service was very attentive. The only downside is the price: for a lunch consisting of an appetizer, two first courses, a dessert, and water, we paid over €80.

A remarkable culinary experience!
The dishes were delicious and prepared with great finesse. The warm welcome from the owner made the experience even more enjoyable.
For starters, we chose the Polipetti in salsa di pomodoro and the Torretta di melanzane alla parmigiana: authentic and perfectly balanced flavors.
For main courses, the Frittura di pesce mista and the carbonara—arguably one of the best we've ever tasted—were simply exceptional.
A true journey to Italy through the plate, which we highly recommend!
