Best meat dishes in Syracuse! Ciccio, the owner of the restaurant is a former butcher with a profound knowledge to preparing different meat types (veal, horse, donkey etc.) Very friendly, family style service and atmosphere. A place the locals like to go.

Let Ciccio offer you advice on how to enjoy an excellent dinner featuring local products. We chose a meat-based first course and a second course (shared). Generous portions, excellent flavors, and perfectly cooked meat. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is rustic and pleasantly casual.

If you’re in Syracuse and you fancy some proper meat… this is THE place to go. Butchers and restaurant in one, they know what they’re doing! Beautifully warm service, extremely friendly (learn some Italian phrases and you’ll be fine) and perfectly cooked ‘home’ food like the baked potatoes (get those!!!) and such good value for money. We got the classic regional beef ‘fiorentina di chianina’ (T-bone from the Chianina cattle breed) with a mixed salad and baked potatoes, and it’s just what we needed. ALSO the house wine (grape: Nero D’Avola) was the cherry on top. 10/10, am planning to come here again for dinner before we leave. DELICIOUS

A unique and pleasant welcome awaited us, with a complimentary hard-boiled egg as an appetizer. We had the roast sausage, roasted prawns, and potato salad: all DELICIOUS. The house wine was delicious, and we were entertained by a colony of curious and greedy cats. We'll definitely be back when we return to Syracuse!

Maravilloso restaurante con personal amable. Tanto mi marido como yo pedimos filete y estaba delicioso. Pedí filete con pimientos y el sabor era maravilloso. El bistec estaba tierno. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

14/10/2025: Needed a light lunch and found exactly what we wanted in this small restaurant. I had calamari and my partner had swordfish, and we shared a mixed salad and a portion of chips. There was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant with family groups on the other tables. We don't speak Italian and the waiter/owner spoke little English but we nevertheless felt welcome and that he wanted us to have a good experience. Very nice food and good value for money. My only regret is that I wasn't generous enough with my tip! They deserved more.

21/09/2025: A small rotisserie offering a variety of first and second courses, all with excellent side dishes. Service is fast and the staff is friendly. A great option, and recommended for those who don't have much time to stop for a meal but want to enjoy well-cooked dishes with fast and friendly service.
