I met Angelo on an organized group trip. We hit it off right away. When he answered the phone to take reservations, he made me want to try the dishes at his restaurant. No sooner said than done. I left for Ceglie Messapica on Wednesday and the same day I was at the restaurant. Excellent meat, excellent service, the place, what can I say, is truly an ancient village. You can only fall in love with this place. I will definitely return and I recommend it to everyone❤️

It is a grill restaurant, they are courteous and welcoming. The menu has a rich appetizer with rare things like donkey mortadella, then fresh and aged local cheeses and cooked and uncooked vegetables. But the main course is the meats and in particular here they also serve horse meat.

We come from Veneto specifically for Angelo, for his dishes and for his restaurant. The first time we didn't get to the main course, because with the thousand delicious appetizers we couldn't continue, then we got ready and our expectations were more than satisfied. The venue is beautiful, the service is impeccable and the food is of undisputed quality and goodness. We feel at home, and we will continue to take a plane specifically to go to them ♥️ more than recommended!

One of the most renowned barbecue shops in Ceglie in harmony and without interruption with the old glorious management from which it inherited professionalism and competence in the choice of raw materials. Absolutely worth trying.

Very small rooms and tables almost together, good food, good service, but too expensive for what you eat. You can't put a plate of pasta in the center of the table for everyone.... I understand that there is often waste and food has to be thrown away (wrong thing) but a plate of pasta for everyone is ridiculous... Then paying 40 €each......never again

Sulla qualità del cibo e sul servizio nulla da dire assolutamente, ma riguardo alle porzioni misere e il prezzo pagato sì. Zero ricevuta, e conto mooolto salato:160€in 4 per persone🤐(. Antipasti della casa contati, un piatto di orecchiette al sugo messo al centro e idem per l arrosto misto)

07/05/2025: 3 starters, 3 first courses, 3 second courses, simple and effective, taste, taste, taste. The local products are ultra fresh, the place is very pleasant and the service very attentive, I highly recommend this restaurant. Be careful, it’s a budget, but worth it!!!
28/04/2025: It's worth the trip wherever you come from! Even though we live about 45 minutes from San Vito dei Normanni, when we want to eat well and be pampered we always come here! The service in the room is exceptional, attentive and punctual (which - alas - is increasingly rare!) and courteous. The chef is skilled in dealing with fish, meat and vegetables, maximizing their quality and respecting the raw materials. The menu changes seasonally and there is often something off the menu. The room is well furnished and welcoming and in the summer season there is the possibility of eating outside. Ps a mention also to the desserts, excellent and never banal!
