We went for lunch at a relatively late hour by Italian standards and had no problems. The food was delicious, especially the Risotto All'amarone, at a very reasonable price. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service was pleasant and very efficient, especially from the waitress who served us, who was delightful. If we return to Verona, we will definitely return.

A calm and nice restaurant, with authentic food and off the menu dishes as well. The octopus was delicious! Highly recommended and not a tourist trap!

We were walking around Verona and happened upon this place, and I have to be honest, we were greeted by the staff with such kindness. We ordered a delicious eggplant parmigiana and a superb risotto with Amarone. Prices were reasonable for what you get. If you're in the area, I recommend you stop by. Greetings to the brothers who own the place, from the ParmigianPartenopei couple. 😋🔝💙

Of course, we don't know all the restaurants in Verona. Perhaps this isn't the best. What is certain is that we were greeted with a smile and kindness at 5 p.m. (we hadn't eaten at lunch), and we had a superb lunch: octopus, roasted potatoes, and grilled vegetables, all accompanied by an excellent fresh Soave. A very good lemon cake to finish. Perfect. The restaurant is on a quiet street, the tables are perfectly set, with cloth tablecloths and napkins. It's quite a far cry from your average pizzeria. I can only recommend this restaurant. Thank you again for your welcome and your smile.

Excellent restaurant in the city center, in a lovely area. Great Veronese classics (very good Amarone risotto) with interesting Neapolitan influences for truly excellent seafood dishes. The tuna Genovese is delicious, the octopus spectacular. Good service and a lovely atmosphere.

Verona is waiting to be discovered. And walking through alleys, squares, and exhibitions, we arrived at the Scaliger Tombs. Hunger and curiosity drove us to Ristorante Arche. As soon as we entered, we were immediately overwhelmed by love and courtesy. The wait staff was incredibly kind, the owner was amazing. The food was delicious, innovative, and special. We will definitely return to Verona, but more importantly, we now have our favorite restaurant.

Locale grazioso situato in zona Arche Scaligere. Personale professionale ed accogliente. Ho preso la patissada du caval con polenta. Gustosa e saporita. Buono il pane che l'accompagnava. Prezzo: 19€. Coperto: 3€. Consigliatissimo. Servizio celere. Graziosa anche la location.

07/09/2025: We had a wonderful evening. The staff were extremely friendly and adapted to the atmosphere at our table. They were incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, and all the dishes exceeded our expectations. We can't believe they don't have a Michelin star. We're so grateful we were able to dine there, enjoying the best possible Italian cuisine! :)!!

14/07/2025: "Il Mangiabottoni" was a pleasant discovery! A somewhat hidden osteria, but located in a beautiful setting. Exceptional dishes (I can't describe the veal tartare with brioche bread... out of this world!), excellent service, and a very elegant location. Average prices. Definitely worth a visit!
