Antico pozzo In Portogruaro

A previous reviewer wrote that he had the best pizza of his life, and that's true for us too.

We had booked several days in advance, specifically requesting an inside table because of the air conditioning. Only upon arrival were we informed that it wasn't working, so we had to choose between staying inside and staying warm or outside. Since it was one of the hottest days of the year, and we were dressed for an indoor dinner, the heat made dinner quite tiring. The outdoor area is very simple, more reminiscent of a bar than a restaurant, and I personally found it a bit drab, but that's a subjective assessment. The pizzas, on the other hand, were a pleasant surprise: we all chose the hemp dough, which was truly excellent, light, and easy to digest. The service was also quick. It's a shame that the air conditioning issue wasn't communicated: knowing this in advance would have allowed us to decide whether or not to confirm the reservation.

Nice outdoor garden. They open at 7pm, which was a little before opening time, but they seated us outside. Service is good, the girls are in control. Pizza seasoned with chili oil has a different flavor dimension, a good idea for me. Drink white wine by the glass. A carafe in the evening, when it's over 30C, it gets warm quite quickly. Food, place, service are top notch ;)

Pleasant service with great pizza. It’s located on a square in the center of the town. Very nice vibe and atmosphere.

A charming place in the square in Portogruaro, offering whole wheat, hemp, or scrocchiarella (a thicker, crispier crust, for two), delicious pizza, and desserts. Friendly and helpful staff. The only downside is the smell of cigarette smoke that can be smelled even inside.

The quality of the pizza dough is good, both normal and wholemeal, the ingredients are good quality, the service is very good, the waitress is very kind and always smiling, the prices are exaggeratedly high

Everything was delicious, and the owner even offered us a whole bottle of limoncello at the end of the meal. I recommend everyone to come here.

We had the mixed seafood appetizer, a paltry portion for the price. Two things were a no-brainer. The fried calamari with polenta was very tender and the portion was just right. We'll have to come back to try the pizza.
