4) Open on Mondays for dinner.
I started with an excellent spaghetti, with a sauce of cooked down yellow cherry tomatoes, stracciatella cheese (what's inside burrata) and bread crumbs. My partner had green pasta raviolis filled with ricotta and seasonal herbs.
We split a tenderloin of deer for our main course (which they served on two separate plates without us asking them do that... a bonus). We had glasses of a very nice Lagrein wine from Alto Adige and we finished with a classic tiramisu and a coffee. Antico Guelfo was one of the two best restaurants of this trip.

Davvero tutto buonissimo, dalla carne al pesce. Il servizio è stato attento e impeccabile. Lo straconsiglio! Se dovessimo tornare a Vicenza ci andremo sicuramente!

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the wine list, as after dinner I had a long drive ahead of me, but I'll make up for it!!

A little old-fashioned atmosphere, very good desserts and starters, less so the spaghetti with clams and bottarga (the flavor of the latter is too strong). The duck meat is also good. Excellent service. They also accept animals (I went with my chihuahua), and for this reason ❤️. Good wine and fair bill.

Locale curato e accogliente... Con un bello stile... Personale gentile e cordiale e con ottima preparazione professionale.... menù di stagione, con cibo di ottima qualità... È da provare.... A pranzo propongono il menù a prezzo fisso, pochi piatti ma di ottima qualità a un ottimo prezzo... Da provare
Anche dopo l'emergenza covid, lAntico Guelfo ha riaperto, potete ritrovare l'ottima qualità, dal lunedì al sabato il menù a prezzo fisso a pranzo...

Bello il locale, curato e pulito, un po' basso il riscaldamento e le opzioni senza glutine sono molto scarse, un antipasto, nessun primo, carne servita senza salsa perché con glutine, solo crackers no pane, per dessert solo gelato che in gennaio non è il massimo
