If I could give Antico Francischiello more than five stars, I would do so without hesitation. This restaurant is a true culinary institution, combining tradition, elegance, and a hospitality that is now rare. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine kindness and a smile that made you feel immediately at home. Special thanks go to Francesco and his sister Firminia, the owners: two exquisite, professional, passionate people with an overwhelming warmth that makes the experience even more memorable. The welcome entrées were a surprising start: carefully crafted, refined, and capable of expressing, in a single bite, a love for the cuisine and the region. The appetizers confirmed the exceptional quality of the gastronomic offering: excellent quality ingredients, harmonious combinations, and impeccable presentation. The first courses were a triumph of flavors, balanced yet intense, prepared with a mastery that enhances every ingredient. Kudos also to the wine selection, expertly recommended: a perfect pairing that enhanced each dish and completed the experience sublimely. In conclusion, Antico Francischiello is more than just a restaurant: it's a place where you can experience an authentic gastronomic journey, in a warm and family atmosphere, guided by professionals who truly love what they do. The cannelloni and lemon delight were really good... the rest was average for the Sorrento peninsula.

Maintaining its classic style, very elegant and refined, with a wonderful sea view. Perfect for an anniversary. Try the house specialties: Francischiello cannelloni and lemon delight. We'll definitely be back.

It rightly ranks among the historic Italian restaurants, with a menu that, in addition to traditional dishes, also features some "intriguing" offerings. Great attention to quality and attentive service, prices in line with what's on offer, and, last but not least, a breathtaking view. See you next time...

Elegant restaurant with sea view

Un entorno muy acogedor, personal de camarero elegante y atento, buena comida de calidad y excelente vista sobre el mar de Thymin - en general muy buena relación precio/calidad. IT es comprensible por qué este restaurante nos lo recomendaron.

Excelente servicio y deliciosa comida tradicional Italiano . Al entrar en este restaurante te sientes como si hubieras entrado en la casa de alguien. Nos encantó todo lo que comimos, mientras disfrutábamos de la música en vivo. El ambiente era encantador y nos dieron una mesa en la sala de atrás, que tenía todas las ventanas y una vista increíble. La desventaja es que el sol se estaba poniendo en esa zona y traía mucho calor a la habitación, especialmente con el sol pegando fuerte sobre nosotros. El comedor tenía que estar al menos a 80 grados. Lamentablemente, eso hizo que nuestra comida fuera muy incómoda. Había unidades de aire acondicionado alrededor del comedor, pero decidieron no usarlas o tal vez estaban encendidas pero muy bajas. Tuvimos la oportunidad de subir a su azotea antes de que llegaran nuestros platos principales y allí vimos unas vistas increíbles y olivos que cubrían la ladera de la montaña. Si vas, hazlo durante un mes con clima más frío. Estuvimos allí en julio. Es un buen viaje en taxi de 20 minutos cuesta arriba desde el centro de la ciudad de Sorrento y no es algo que intentarías hacer caminando.
