Antico Francischiello In Massa lubrense

Example of an excellent family run traditional Italian restaurant. Great food, sablefish and seafood ravioli is a must. Service was friendly and prompt. The view into the ocean and sunset while having dinner made the evening quite memorable.

We return to Francischiello after several years where courtesy and professionalism have not changed, as the refinement of the excellently cooked and well presented dishes. Stunning view of Capri. Recommended

This restaurant is a hidden gem! Have been in Sorrento for a week and eaten at many so called genuine Italian restaurants, nothing comes close to the Antico! The is beyond superb and cooked with such a delicate touch. The menu leaves you spoilt for choice, but whatever you choose it WILL be delicious! The views are spectacular with a panoramic view from Mount Vesuvius through to the Isle of Capri, totally uninterrupted! The sunset is amazing too! The family run Antico leaves you wanting for more, sadly we visited on our last night so will not be able to visit again until we return to Sorrento. But I do not want anyone else to miss the opportunity to experience this wonderful restaurant! Pictures of the late Pavarotti on the wall show how good the reputation of Antico is! We wouldn't have found it without our receptionist Lauren recommending it at Grand Hotel Aminta!

Perfectly cooked food. With one of the best quality of raw materials ever tried in Italy. We only waited a bit to be served but the wait staff was delightful. In my opinion, a light audio diffusion of music is missing because on a fairly empty evening like the one we went to, silence is not exactly a pleasant thing. But other than that a recommended place. Indeed SUPER RECOMMENDED

The restaurant is well known for the quality of its offerings, always above average. The premises are in an enviable position in the heart of the Sorrento coast. Impeccable service, variety on the menu, perhaps a little poor in the wine list, which however does not compromise the overall opinion. Worth trying without any doubt.

Sono tornato in questo iconico ristorante della costiera e tutto è rimasto come prima . Accoglienza familiare ma professionale pietanze di buona qualità servite da personale gentile e premuroso. Ottimi i dolci serviti in modo particolare. Unico neo della giornata un pò di tavoli di troppo nella splendida sala panoramica.
