Went here in March of 2026, the food was outstanding, and the pasta was some of the best I have had. The service was just ok as they seemed a bit angry, but other that that great meal.

My girlfriend and I dined here today and were pleasantly surprised by the flavor of the food in a simple, local setting. We also wanted to thank the man who served us (the one with the slicked-back hair and blue eyes) and emphasize his helpfulness, kindness, and friendliness. He was kind enough to stop and briefly tell us about the restaurant's history, including the curious photo with Montale. Everything was great from start to finish, and we highly recommend the restaurant.

The meat was a bit too rare, but it was still delicious. The mushroom risotto and recommended wine were delicious.
Many reviews mention poor service, but one server seemed to throw the food onto the table, which was unpleasant. Other than that, it was a decent meal.

Just steps from the Uffizi Gallery, we dined at this beautiful, traditional Tuscan trattoria. We had a starter of Tuscan crostini, followed by the inevitable Florentine steak, spectacularly tender and cooked to perfection. The staff was very friendly and attentive to their guests' needs.

We chose a classic Florentine steak for Valentine's Day at this trattoria. A wonderfully Italian restaurant. Even when initially a bit awkward, the waiters were attentive, kind, and helpful.
Anyone who truly wants Florentine flair in a beautiful, traditional setting simply must eat steak here!

Restaurant found by chance but immediately at home with the perfect service of Mr. Andrea who with his words and excellent advice made us taste and discover delicious dishes and above all the knowledge of such a good and talented person as Andrea.. thank you all.. we will be very happy to return when we pass through Florence again..❤️

Just steps from the Ponte Vecchio, amidst dozens of tourist traps, a historic osteria still stands.
We focused on the first courses, all of which were excellent.
We appreciated the abundance of homemade cantucci, which were given to us with our coffee.
The staff were friendly and attentive.
