I tried the tagliatelle with truffle for €30, I was expecting something more, it seemed to me there was a little too much butter. The staff is friendly.

First evening in Orvieto with family.
We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. The staff was very friendly and it felt like dining at home.
The food was excellent, as was the value for money. Advised.

The environment is nice, but at 8pm there was still no one there, so during the meal you felt a little observed by the staff, who were nevertheless very courteous. The umbriachelle all'amatriciana (12€) were good, normal sized portion, I would recommend them. It's not pasta made by them, but still fresh pasta. On the other hand, the wild boar stew (18€), small portion, was a disappointing choice (referring to the moment of payment), because it was rather hard; it is not served with its own side dish. The side dish of baked potatoes (€5) is on the sweet side, not your favourite, but it's a matter of taste. Sautéed chicory (€5) was good. The paper placemats look a bit like a pizzeria...

Very good pastas (umbricelli amatriciana and carbonara). Very correct pork stew, accompanied with baked potatoes. Excellent attention and atmosphere.

Really tasty dinner, large and welcoming room, very helpful and courteous staff. Excellent cuisine, precise service. Difficult to choose between gnocchi, ravioli, lamb, wild boar or other dishes, including side dishes and desserts, to say which dish was the best

Truly a nice surprise! We stopped to eat in this beautiful restaurant in the historic center of Orvieto, among the proposals there are different types of fresh pasta, I recommend the amatriciana and the carbonara!
Among the second courses, excellent rabbit and osso buco!
We will definitely be back!

Durante la mia gita a Orvieto, ho scelto di pranzare in questo elegante ristorante nel centro storico e mi sono trovata bene. Ottimo il rolle' di carne con funghi porcini e patate e squisito il tiramisù scomposto. Servizio veloce e cordialità in una location molto gradevole e caratteristica. Un buon posto per assaporare prodotti del territorio. Lo consiglio senz'altro!
